The new KJV Bible Annotated by The Duck Dynasty Brothers Release date Oct. 2014

While this book can never replace the KJV 1611 it should be some light reading for one's ''Me Time''. From the initial description the Brothers will give their thoughts on chapter and verse. I am not sure if their opinions will be typed in or penciled in along the edges, either way it has to be insightful and entertaining!
There Is a Duck Dynasty Version of the Bible Coming Out

    by Josh Feldman | 10:36 am, June 7th, 2014 147

If you know one thing about the stars of Duck Dynasty, you know they have very strong Christian beliefs. And so perhaps it comes as no surprise that there is a Duck Dynasty version of the Bible being released this year; it’s essentially a New King James version of the Bible, mixed in with spiritual testimonials by Duck Commander Phil Robertson and his son Alan.
The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible will be released by Christian publisher Thomas Nelson, and will focus on five values of the Robertson family: “Faith, Family, Fellowship, Forgiveness, and Freedom.”
The two Robertsons will write 30 “life-changing testimonials,” as well as 125 “Set Your Sights” features, for the Bible. Their writings will add some personal insight on “how they’ve seen God transform lives and accomplish His plans for people.”
The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible will be released on October 28th.

I don't know about you but I will be checking with Walmart to see if I can Pre-order a copy.

Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

    I love these guys!! I can't wait to hear their views on one of my favorite verses;

    Malachi 2:2-3

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

-Every young man's battle - PORN AND MASTURBATION![/SIZE]
-DISOWN your ATHEIST children - just like this good mother did!!

-FINALLY!! Some rights for the rapists!!
-There is no such thing as animal abuse!!
-Pregnancy through RAPE is a GIFT from God
-Keep the Fags out of the Boy Scouts!!
-WIVES!! Stay in your abusive relationship!

STOP, DROP & ROLL DOESN'T WORK IN HELL!!!!

I hope it includes extensive commentary on Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, particularly with regard to the differences between an anus and a vagina. Somehow there are people who still don't get this. Phil should set 'em straight.

I know this may be skirting blasphemy, but I sometimes wish that God had included more detailed descriptions of sodomy in His Holy Word so that no one could pretend not to know what he meant. "It's about temple prostitutes" is the hip new lie, and it's BS like the rest of them. Maybe we could put out an illustrated Bible that shows what these verses are really about. Adding pictures isn't changing God's Word, is it? What if we just put it on the cover?

The problem is, atheists don't believe in Gods word anyways, so more detail on sodomy would not help atheists. On the other hand, though there are lots of 'Christians' who are homosexual. More detail would convince them to stop lying about how they are Christian, and they could at least follow some of the bible.* Or, if we are very lucky, they could choose Christ over the pits of Hell, and stop being homosexual, and eventually join the true Christians in heaven.

        *Proverbs 19:9
        Proverbs 12:22

Maybe, instead of thinking about altering the bible, we could just show the homosexual 'Christians' the few verses there are about sodomy, and teach them that just because there are not a huge amount of verses about it, it doesn't mean the verses there are should be ignored. Maybe we'll even gain a few more souls for Jesus.
