So never mind. Her poem is not good.
It could drive lemmings off cliffs, it's so not good.

She means well and is great to look at,
which is why I chose to highlight the God-given talents of Magdalena:
makeup and making babies. And wallowing. Lots.
This woman sounds like a harlot and a goth to boot, and what's worse, she is probably related to that despicable drug-addled Bolivian Communist Emo Morales. Jesus disapproves on at least four different levels.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

      Pray thee Brother Temperance,
what would these four ways be?

(please amplify in a verse--you verse so very well)

Thanks for poetry--for distilling truths, as does the Bible's verse.

          Peter
Mag - a goth, a hellbound goth. Whining, miserable, glum where cheer is preferred by the LORD.
Da - A harlot, a single mother. Fornicating, abusing and defiling the temple of the LORD.
Le - A druggie, a coke-addled druggie. Such things are forbidden by the institutions set up by the LORD.
Na - A commie, a Godless commie. Seeking equality among all, when we could never be equal to the LORD.

As I said, there may be others, but those were the ones that seemed most obvious to me.
Dear Farther,

                        I envision your future fame,
not so much in a homerish remake of Presley's Jailhouse Rock,
as in a redux of Sally Fields' The Flying Nun,

as the kink in her winged hat.

                          lampoon those hair salon homers

The dumbest thing I ever did for love?

                          I gave a baby panda
                          a fade haircut
                          without fee.

What a waste of my affection.
                          The panda cuddled up instead
                          with the puke beautician
from the shop across the street.

I wish now I'd burned its roots
                          with 40 vol. peroxide. But
by then it was too late for that.

So I burned the punk's place down
while they meshed in furrrr massage.

                          Lesson learned the hardest way:
                          never pander to a panda.
It will wrip your heartstrings out
                          and scratchmark the headboard.

                          One less panda, one less pawn;
what's the difference, and who cares?

Evidently, my scissors do, and deeply.

I didn't know about that tract! Those atheists are not generally known for wits or writs. Thanks for the smile!

Reading of the corroded history of the papacy, I found only one of the scourge, whom I'd consider to have been a fully decent human:
that weak and gentle soul whose tenure terminated after only 33 days of rule.

                                Did God call him home? (surely, satan did not); this gentle man who had no aspiration nor expectation of papal election;
he, who said at the instant of his surprise election,

May God forgive you for what you have done

                                Moments later, hesitating,

                                I accept

Unlucky Luciani, the man who wrote himself humbly, as if a servant of God's servants,
in his abeyance to a false church, he

lacked the oily ruthlessness by which to remain a pope.
                                Surprisingly, instantly, he demonstrated an alarming strike of reform-mindedness;
vibrations rattling the vital power structure of the Vatikan.

It was not a good fit of foot to shoe.
The affable, gentle Luciani was soon seen as the most dangerous pope of all.
How ironic that an erstwhile true servant of the Lord
(though misplaced in that false religion)
should have been thrust to power,

and then, by the same forces,

                                removed from life.

If it were possible that any one of the popes may be granted forgiveness by Jesus
Albino Luciani would be that pope.

The poem, therefore, is not a joke
