  • I have a question about politics.

What does this church think about Libertarians. Let me get this out first. Libertarians are NOT the same as Liberals. Liberals or LIEberals want to take money from all the hardworking christian americans and give it to poor drunk atheists who are too lazy to get a job. Or they give it to crack dealers in ghettos like in Detroit. Libertarians are all about protecting your freedoms and making sure no muslim terrorist will take them away. They are generally conservative in nature so I am wondering what LBC thinks about Libertarianism.

Re: I have a question about politics.

    Dear friend:

We believe in the Bible, and we pray for the day when God's Own Party replaces the heathenish U.S. Constitution with Biblical law. Lie-bertarians seem to have gotten the loopy notion that freedom includes the freedom to be a homer, to OD on marijuana, or to read porn. Please show me where in the Bible God recognizes any of those so-called freedoms.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Questions to ask liberal "Christians"Things that the Bible doesn't sayTolerance

Well alot of libertarians are different. I dont support the things you just said because they are hazardous to everyone around the person. Alot of libertarians do want limits on such things as those. So if libertarians were against the gay agenda, doing drugs, and looking at porn libertarianism wouldnt be so bad?

Do you see the difference between your two questions? The first asks for a view on all Libertarians – this requires an overall answer, which Pastor Isaac Peters provided. Now you ask for views on specific types of Libertarian
A lot of libertarians do want […]

If you provide a list of Libertarians and their attitude to godless pursuits, I will let you know a True Christian™ stance but do not keep moving the goal posts.

In the meantime I hear that Libertarians believe that we are responsible for our own actions and that the state should not interfere. Firstly, we are responsible to God for our actions, secondly a State must exist to create a True Christian™ State and ensure adherence to True Christian™ values as per the Bible. Libertarianism thus seems to advocate anarchy – the realm of the Father of Lies!

well, you are right. You have convinced me to stay away from libertarianism. We all know anarchy leads to atheism. Thank You.

            Then they're False Libertarians.

Either you ARE a Libertarian, or you are NOT a Libertarian.

People who want to enforce God's Laws cannot also be Libertarians.

It's very simple, actually. All Libertarians are going to Hell-end of discussion.
