Teaching the retarded basic tasks actually could save tax dollars. Could they be trained to do menial or dangerous tasks, tasks that might endanger normal people. Like checking for gas in coal mines, or moving live electrical wires after storms, stuff like that.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea! This way, society could demonstrate to these people their true worth!

Vice President Palin wants to keep having her children regardless of whether they're retarded or not, and she wants to promote 'special needs' programs to help her out of her mess. Everyone knows that her family will get health care for life. Sounds like a closet communist to me.

I have to say that I'm surprised that she had the bad taste to have a mongoloid child.

And why make things worse by displaying it in public?

It may be me, but each time I see the kid, it's being carried not by her, but some other member of the family. I don't think she can bear to touch it.

Why is trisomy 21 referred to as Down Syndrome? Mongolian idiot seems far more descriptive.

I can understand Doctors disparaging retards, it's their job. What are they supposed to do, praise their stupidity and hideousness? But why do the Bean Counters care? Shouldn't people whose responsibility it is to keep track of agricultural output just stick to their jobs? Just more of the same from our secular government! Wasting our tax dollars with redundant and overlapping Big Government programs.
