Palin: Iraq is a "Task from God"

George Bush famously informed a Middle Eastern diplomat that "God told me" to take down Saddam Hussein. Now Sarah Palin has shown that she is right behind George on the Iraq war, calling the invasion and occupation of Iraq "a task that is from God". Who can argue with that?

American military presence in Iraq made Halliburton feel safe in moving its corporate headquarters to Kuwait. Surely that is God's purpose, or, as Palin put it , "...there is a plan and that plan is God's plan."

Analysis of death rates before and after the invasion show that in the first 3 years of the war 600,000 more people died than would have died if Bush had left Saddam in power. The majority of them have been children. Surely DEATH IS GOD'S PLAN!

The war has cost over 4000 American lives, and 100,000 Americans have been maimed or mutilated. Surely THAT IS GOD'S PLAN!

American taxpayers have spent hundred of billions of dollars on the war, while corporations have made tens of billions in profits. Surely THAT IS GOD'S PLAN too!

John "Tortured for God" McCain and Sarah "God's Word Lives in ME" Palin will continue God's war in Iraq for a hundred years. Cormac McCarthy wrote, perhaps satirically, that "war is God", but McCain and Palin take that holy charge as seriously as Moses.

Praise God! Let the killing last a thousand years! Vote McCain-Palin!

Praise Jesus! The Demoncrats had us all looking for a man that would be George W. Bush II, but the reality is that it was a woman that will follow in his footsteps. Praise Jesus! It just goes to show how racist the Democrats are. With McCain at 95% Bush and Palin at nearly 100% Bush, we have almost 200% of Bush--how glorious is that Praise Jesus, He has a plan for us!

Exactly, brother. Democrats have no concept on sound economics it seems like. This $3 trillion is why our economy is booming right now! Such a cash flow is sure to trickle down throughout the economy! We Republicans have cut 50% off of the "tax and spend" ideology to just "spend". That's a savings right there!

I like the idea of a war that is "a Task from God". It is years since we really had one of those. God has, of course, tasked man before with war. His Almighty Mercy and Compassion see that, with God on our side, we cannot lose* and that men, women, children and unborn babies are to be slaughtered or taken into bondage to be done with as you will.

I see this as an improvement on the wishy-washy idea of "The Surge."

Always remember, the message is, "Peace is proportional to the number of enemy dead."

I still can't figure out why the Democrats are against the Iraq war. I thought they wanted the government to create more jobs for negroes, yet they got upset when President Bush did exactly that in Iraq. The ingrates!

He even filtered out the mexicants by offering them citizenship for service. This way those wetbacks wouldn't be stealing all our jobs here at home. Who is going to pay a True American to be a engineer, rocket scientist, surgeon, chemist, corporate VP, Senator, lawyer or Microsoft programmer when some dirty spic from a run down village in Tijuana will do the job for 5 bucks a day?
