  • Yes! Trump Will Pardon Rod Blagojevich

    Finally, we have a President with a sense of justice. Even though he is a Democrat, the former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, deserves to be out of prison and returned to his career in politics. Maybe he will become a Republican and help us out.

    When Obama, representing the State of Illinois, became President Governor Blagojevich was faced with the task of appointing another person to serve in the Senate. Reading resumes and meeting with a long parade of worthless Democrats begging for the seat took lots of Blagojevich's time. It took him away from his more important work of being Governor.

    So, Gov. Rod did what any practical businessman would do, he began to talk of compensation. The Trump family does this and why not? While the Trumps have actually made money from political office Rod never got paid.

    For talking about just compensation, Governor Blagojevich was sent to prison. Let him go free, President Trump:

    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

    Now we see Rod's hometown paper becoming disloyal to the state he served. That liberal rag, the Chicago Tribune has the audacity to say Rod should not be pardoned.

    Rob Blagojevich is of the strong linage of Illinois leaders that included the Dailys of Chicago. He should have the freedom he deserves:

    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

      This will help deflect criticism the next time President Trump pardons one of his republican buddies.
      May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

        Rod Blagojevich (his friends call him "Blago") is one of those individuals that you might be tempted to call glib - but this masks his insufferable ability to talk endlessly in a word salad where it's difficult to discern exactly what he is saying.

        Evidently an adherent to Donald Trump's "Art of the Deal", Blago seems to indicate that all he was ever doing was asking for contributions for his election campaigns - but others felt that trying to "sell" Obama's open senate seat appointment after Obama was elected president elevated this "normal" behavior to something deserving a prison sentence. We might mention in passing that Blago was no fan of Obama, and voted for Ronald Reagan twice.

        Illinois politics is dominated by Chicago - a place where there has been an endless parade of social reformers, socialists, communists, anarchists, unionists, and mobsters hawking their wares ever since prohibition. Overwhelmingly dominated by the Democrats, Illinois is number 4 in the top 10 list of the most corrupt states - costing taxpayers an average of $17 billion.

        Once called "Hog Butcher for the World" by Carl Sandburg, Chicago's former stock yards are long gone but there remains to this day "Bubbly Creek" that is still festering from the decomposition of blood and entrails dumped into the river in the early 20th century by the local meatpacking businesses. In today's context, another swamp that needs to be drained.

        To every Christian's dismay, courts have repeatedly turned down the requirement that those running for political office be Christians - thus ensuring that they will be punished for wrong doing and corruption whether caught in this life or assuredly in the next.

        The question for all of us here at the Landover Baptist Church is whether Blago has found Jesus or not, and so far I don't see any evidence of it - but I could be wrong.
        Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
        brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
        ...and get off my lawn

          Rod is a good, Christian man even if his name sounds communistic. When that nigra abandoned his hoodrats, a vacancy in the Godly state of Illinois was created. To prevent an other nigra from stealing the position,. Rod wanted it to go to a person really wanted it and was will to pay for the honor.

          Much like our own Pastor Ezekiel who has given his life over to the ministering to True Christians™ worldwide, as I understand it for just $0.99 per year salary, of which he donates !00% to LBC. Can you imagine, giving your entire pretax salary to service Jesus!
          I hope once Rod gets home that he will come and visit Landover to share the message of his experience and how he did a laying of hands with the prison gentlemen. A True American™!
          Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
          Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
          Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
          Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
          Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
          Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

            Turns out it's even better than that! Trump might be planning to pardon himself!

            "As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong?"

            As mentioned, Trump hasn't done anything wrong yet, but just in case he's wrongly accused he can make it all go away with the stroke of a pen.

            Trump shouldn't have to waste time on attorneys or court hearings or other nonsense. He's the president, he's very busy.

            Previous Presidents including Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton got in trouble because they just never thought to pardon themselves. Not everyone can have great ideas like Donald Trump on such a constant basis.
            Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

              I am in a state of shock. Trump commuted the sentence of a jigaboo and he did not do the same for Rod. Where is the justice?

                We need to get Blago back in the game. We know the President wants to pardon him but someone in his staff is putting up resistance.

                Maybe if we proposed he would perform public service for several years it would help--like working in one of President Trump's properties without pay.

                  It happens so often, we here at Landover Baptist Church post our recommendations to President Trump and then we read he has followed our advice. This thread is an example.

                  A couple of years ago we brought to the President's attention with posts here the injustice of Rod Blagojevich's sentence to prison. All Blago did was ask for compensation for the time required of him to appoint a new Senator. Politicians who think they have halos over their heads said, no, Blagojevich was seeking a bribe.

                  Thank you, President Trump for releasing Blago from prison and allowing him to again hold public office.

                    Isaiah 61:1-11
                    1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
                    2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
                    3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
                    4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
                    5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
                    6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
                    7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
                    8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
                    9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
                    10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
                    11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

                      This action by our Beloved President is truly brilliant, as it will shut up the liberals. They've been whining about things not being bipartisan, and here we go: Donald J. Trump () has just pardoned Blagojevich, a Democrat! That is the most beautiful example of bipartisan politics we've seen in years!
                      God created fossils to test our faith.
