THIS kind of thing just infuriates me. Fox News reports that this boy is still traumatized by his ordeal.

5th Grader Suspended For Anti-Obama Shirt

AURORA (MyFOXColorado.com) - An 11-year-old in Aurora says his first amendment rights are being trampled after he was suspended for wearing a homemade shirt that reads "Obama is a terrorist's best friend."

The fifth grader at Aurora Frontier K-8 School wore it on a day when students were asked to wear red, white and blue to show their patriotism.

The boy's father Dann Dalton describes himself as a "proud conservative" who has taken part in some controversial anti-abortion protests. Dalton says the school made a major mistake by suspending his son for wearing the shirt.

"It's the public school system," Dalton says. "Let's be honest, it's full of liberal loons."

The school district told the student, Daxx Dalton, that he had the choice of changing his shirt, turning his shirt inside out or being suspended.

Daxx chose suspension.

"They're taking away my right of freedom of speech," he says. "If I have the right to wear this shirt I'm going to use it. And if the only way to use it is get suspended, then I'm going to get suspended."

Daxx's dad agrees with him and is encouraging his son to stand his ground. "The facts are his rights were violated. Period."

Aurora Public Schools would not talk about the case but said the district "Respects a student's right to free speech, such as the right to wear specific clothing," but administrators say they review any situation that interrupts the learning environment.

Paperwork submitted by the school district says Daxx Dalton was not suspended for wearing the shirt, but for willful disobedience and defiance.

The boy's father says he intends to pursue a lawsuit against the district.

Well I should hope so!

Once President Palin is in office, these liebrals will pay dearly.

How is he being persecuted by Obama? Obama isn't the one who suspended him.
He should be able to wear his shirt - just as a student who wanted to wear a "George Bush - War Criminal" t-shirt should be allowed to do so.

Clearly Obama had a role in this, he has to stick his nose everywhere it doesn't belong. I hope he is not expecting me to get rid of my Obama=Terrorist t-shirts!

How is he being persecuted by Obama? Obama isn't the one who suspended him.
He should be able to wear his shirt - just as a student who wanted to wear a "George Bush - War Criminal" t-shirt should be allowed to do so.

Um no. A student should be apprehended by Homeland Security should they wear a shirt mocking our Godly George W. Bush!

The only thing I find offensive it that the father didn't help this kid write it clearer. There are splatters and the letters are uneven. The truth deserves to be well written.
After Hamas endorsed Obama you would think that America would have woken up. Bunch a Liberal idiots.

You seem to know him very well... Why would he confide in you, or have you merely accepted his word for it? He was at a Madrassa (terrorist training school) in Indonesia, at that school, the Koran is taught and read; the Koran is written in Arabic. Have I said enough?

But reporting by CNN in Jakarta, Indonesia and Washington, D.C., shows the allegations that Obama attended a madrassa to be false. CNN dispatched Senior International Correspondent John Vause to Jakarta to investigate.
He visited the Basuki school, which Obama attended from 1969 to 1971.
"This is a public school. We don't focus on religion," Hardi Priyono, deputy headmaster of the Basuki school, told Vause. "In our daily lives, we try to respect religion, but we don't give preferential treatment."
Vause reported he saw boys and girls dressed in neat school uniforms playing outside the school, while teachers were dressed in Western-style clothes.
"I came here to Barack Obama's elementary school in Jakarta looking for what some are calling an Islamic madrassa ... like the ones that teach hate and violence in Pakistan and Afghanistan," Vause said on the "Situation Room" Monday. "I've been to those madrassas in Pakistan ... this school is nothing like that."
Vause also interviewed one of Obama's Basuki classmates, Bandug Winadijanto, who claims that not a lot has changed at the school since the two men were pupils. Insight reported that Obama's political opponents believed the school promoted Wahhabism, a fundamentalist form of Islam, "and are seeking to prove it."

You are probably reading articles that were published last year.Reporters thoroughly investigated and inferred that the school is indeed NOT a terrorist school.Why don't you go to Malaysia and check it out yourself before making such vacuous accusations.

More to the point, he did not deny it, he only said that it was not like ones in Pakistan. Now I've been to Pakistan and I can tell you that every school in Pakistan is unlike ones in Indonesia.

there is no way that report you quoted give any indication of whether it is or it isn't - I'd caution against reading things into reports.

The two don't go together do they? There's no logical link between your propositions. The thread is about the trouble that Obama caused for a young Christian boy. How supporters of Obama want to repress free speech and, more to the point, how Obama himself, who must have heard about this, has remained silent. Is he giving tacit approval?

Now look above, it was you who tried to criticize our lack of comment on that natural born leader of men McCain. I think Obama's silence on this matter says more.
