Troops serving abroad have given nearly six times as much money to Obama's presidential campaign as they have to McCain's, the Center for Responsive Politics said...

Obama has opposed the war in Iraq and says he would withdraw combat troops within 16 months. McCain has been a steadfast supporter of the war, saying he would withdraw the troops only when conditions on the ground warrant it.

"Obama will work tirelessly to uphold this nation's sacred trust with its veterans, to ensure they are not forgotten after they return home and he will provide our troops with the leadership they deserve, as well as the support they and their families need," Obama spokesman Nick Shapiro said.
McCain's campaign played down the significance of the donations.

"John McCain has been endorsed by more retired admirals and generals than Barack Obama has...We feel confident that many U.S. troops stationed overseas will support John McCain in the election this fall, but we suspect most are too busy doing the important work of defending this country than to make political contributions," Goldfarb said.

We could have liberated the entire Middle East in a few months if it weren't for the lazy bunch of emos that pass for "soldiers" these days. McCain is supported by the REAL heros who do the REAL work - the generals, admirals, and everyone who is currently pinned down under heavy fire, unable to get to to a phone or internet connection with a credit card. But in the US Military, heros are outnumbered by worthless mutinying grunts six to one!

I looked at the site and saw this:

Among soldiers serving overseas at the time of their donations, 134 gave a total of $60,642 to Obama

$452 average

while 26 gave a total of $10,665 to McCain

$410 average .

That was less than the amount received by Republican Ron Paul, who collected $45,512 from 99 soldiers serving abroad

$459 average.

There are 144,000 US troops in Iraq, and there must be 1000s posted abroad elsewhere – let’s say there is the same number again, so a total of 288,000 troops, and a total of 160 out of 288,000 were asked the question… hardly scientific, hardly representative, hardly something to claim victory over nor it it even an indication of anything.

I’m sure the soldiers know which side their bread’s buttered – McCain’s their man!

Go back and re-read Brother Jeb's post. He praised the courageous ones who support McCain and his hundred year campaign. The phrase "Lazy grunts" only refers to the cowardly ones who support Obama and his cut-and-run plan.

No courageous soldiers were slandered.

With no crack or malt liquor to buy it makes sense the black soldiers would give their surplus money to a colored fella who is promising to pass out welfare checks like AIDS in Africa.
That way when they get back to the real world they will have plenty of money to buy that crack and those 40's that they crave.

I bet none of the donations to Ooga Mobooga were made by regular soldiers, if they were they were them gay soldiers you aren't allowed to beat up anymore thanks to the sexual pervert Bill Clinton.
