The failure was simple. Nobody at McCain HQ can do basic math.
The Republicans spent too much time courting a few million nutbar votes from the Evangelical hucksters instead of satisfying the single largest and most influential voting block in the country... Seventy Million Catholics.
What are there in the States anyway... maybe 16 million Baptists if you include every one of their covens?
70 million is 54 million bigger than 16 million.

I did what I was told Pastor! Brother Nobar and Brother Bathfire and I flew with the volunteers to various secular hotbeds of LIEberalism! And as I notified you before we left, we did not have the resources nor the cash we needed to complete the mission. All three of us spent our own money just to get back here, and we still had to leave most of the volunteers and Brother Nobar behind to save weight.

Whew! When I first saw the title of this thread I thought Clarence had broken out of quarantine.
Anyway I wanted to do a series of aerial assaults using Landover's Apache helicopters but I was overridden by those in security that were trying to CYA.

Pastor, let me tell you about Capt. Portway and Brother Nobar. These are the two most dedicated men with whom I have had the privilege to serve The Lord. Was it not Portway A. who descended into the bowels of a Gay Strip Club and surfaced 3 hrs later to say, the immortal words, “What I did, I did for Jesus!”? How he sat in that seat to fly us back to safety is beyond me!
And Brother Nobar! Where would we have been had it not been for him securing the votes (literally) of over 107 assorted bums in various public parks after dusk at a cost to himself of his sanity! (His approach of telling them to get rid of all the rubbish might not have seemed a winner at first but turned out to be a vote winner, as the bums set about hippies and other vermin!)

Dear Pastor, you will be pleased to know that I stumbled upon a godless election night hot-tub party full of gloating democrats. I made a point to stop there and let them know that there are Godly people who prefer REAL Americans like John McCain and Sarah Palin.
It didn't matter that they laughed at me and splashed water from their tub at me. They were nice, though, and offered me some hors d'oeuvres and a cup of wine..
When brother P finally found me the party was over and I was ready to split. Our efforts were good intentioned, but I think we needed more help.Comment

It sounds like Portway and Nobar worked very hard. It had to be massive voter fraud. What else could it have been?
This would not have happened in a True Christian theocracy. I did hear that robo calls went out to Christians saying if the wrote in Jesus the machines would vote a straight GOP ticket.
