To see when the parties officially changed position, one only needs to look at the biography of dear Senator Strom Thurmond.

Again brethren I think we are getting bogged down in petty details and forgetting THE TRUTH™ here; we all have sinned but we have all came to Jesus and been forgiven. The same is for the Republicans party. Yes, when they were without The Lord they made mistakes when it came to racial harmony and social justice for the wicked and disgusting poor. But in the goodness of time The Spirit of Christ® has moved them and now they are on the side of the Righteous. Therefore their past sinful acts are not important, threw Christ’s power they never happened.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

So you're calling us liars? I'll have you know, that I take history very seriously. What I hate is when LIE-beral pansys force school teachers to pussyfoot around or outright lie about our great nation's past. All it takes to find out the truth is to research a little, and with the internet it's even easier.

George Washington wanted to be a British officer, but they wouldn't have him. He lost every battle he'd led until that 'famous' crossing of the Potomac. Guess what? He did it in the middle of the night after the celebrations of the new year. He slit their throats in while they were mostly passed out drunk. Granted, I'm not complaining,(they deserved it) but it's the truth. There are other things he did to screw his troops, but I won't go into that here.

Jefferson bedded every woman who crossed his path. The only president to ever come close to his conquests is Kennedy, and at least he had taste.

Jackson made a lot of promises, and screwed everyone in the end.

Kennedy...... What can I say.... His family made their fortune running bootlegged whiskey during prohibition. He also made some lucrative investments while he was Secretary of the Navy.......

Do a little reading, but start with KJV1611.
"If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. . . . And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the manservant's do."

Re: Lincoln was a terrible president

Abe Lincoln (joo?), Franklin Roosevelt (who faked being a cripple), John Kennedy, Billy Carter and Bill Clinton have to be our Nation's worst presidents. The best Presidents in American history are heroic and Godly President George W. Bush, Herbert Hoover, Warren Harding, Ronald Reagan, William McKinley and Richard Nixon. All the best presidents are Republicans, and all the worst presidents (except Lincoln) are DEMONcrats.... coincidence?

I can already tell that the next DEMONcrat elected president will be even worse than all the others combined.

Ok Montague, thanks for your valued opinion. Too bad President Bush is nowhere near the President that Lincoln or Roosevelt was.

              Dr. Davidson,

I agree, a lot of schools only teach the good parts of American history. I have never heard of Presidents' private lives, but no one is perfect. What you said about George Washington is very hard for me to believe...he is without doubt one of the nation's greatest Presidents ever.

He was only put into the office because of his role in the war. Washington did however, steal from his troops. When free enlistment notices were put up for soldiers, there was a document that stated that soldiers serving would receive a plot of land after the war(if they won of course). With a few strokes of his pen, he also included officers. Now, to become an officer you had to already own land. Little do most people know, but Washington's family were land surveyers, owned quite a bit of land, and were quite rich by American standards. While his troops were half starving, he was surveying land so he could claim it if they won the war. They did, and he did. Washington was nothing more than a wannabe British officer...

Because you hate Jesus and assume that God would encourage His followers to deceive you?

No, because I have been taught that Washington was a good general and President. Once again, your assumption is totally wrong.

You were also taught that Jesus loves everyone unconditionally, men and women are equal, and God is Love, right? Once again, what you have been taught bears little or no resemblance to reality.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Well, I don't really believe all of that anyways. It's just the core beliefs of Catholicism, at least my church. Unless you have some hidden experience, I think I have a better grasp of reality than you and most of your compatriots.

Please show respect for your superiors. Refer to him as Mr. Worthington. Even I as a True Christian™ would never think of refering to Brother Worthington as just "Montague". I have given you a negative reputation for refering to a GODLY man like Brother Worthington in such a disrespectful way.

I couldn't remember his name so I just said Montague. Yeah, I was too lazy to scroll down and see what it was.

Anyways, give me an example as to why President Bush is a better President than Lincoln and Roosevelt? I don't think he has had to deal with a Civil War or a World War. Let's not forget the amazing job he did with Katrina, too!
