I noticed my calendar said Friday was Arbor Day. I asked my husband Elmer and he thinks it might be one of those silly Canadian holidays that WE don't celebrate. What is Arbor Day?

I didn't know that there was only one day on which you were supposed to sit under the arbor. I like to do it whenever the weather permits and my wife has enough good-behavior days saved up.This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I think it has something to do with tress and that global warming hoax. It's probably a "made up" holiday like Martin Luther King Day.

Back in the 1930s, we had a holiday in this country called 'Arbor' day. I think it was Teddy Roosevelt's idea. The schools let out and everyone went out and planted a tree to help renew nature's bounty for future generations since we were using a lot of trees to build homes.Originally posted by Rocking for JC View Post

"Arbor" is how the Negroes pronounce "labor." Actually, they pronounce it "Arba." Darkies speak their own creole English known as "Jive." For example, they pronounce "gangster" as "gangsta," and "sister" as "sista." They also have completely different vocabulary for many things, for example, "women" are known as "squeeze." The darkie word for "aspirin" is "crack." What we call a "guy" or a "dude" in proper English, in Jive is pronounced "motherfukka." And so on.
Now that Osambo is our president, he's converting the USA to Jive, rather than proper English. The reason why darkies can't speak English is genetic, the same problem that chimps and Mexicans have.
So "Arbor Day" is actually "labor day," another communist holiday, like Earth Day and Martin Luther King Day.
