As discussion of public medicine reaches fever pitch, there are concerned patriotic Americans who have suddenly realized an even great step in Obama’s long march to Socialism; a step of over $400 Billion dollars! Anyone you ask will tell you that there are “roads to nowhere” built just because some government servant has been told that he needs to build roads to keep up with the state dictated quota. No thought is ever given to where the road should be built. No thought to where the money is coming from – it’s only your taxes, people! Why should the Peoples’ Republic of DC be bothered?
This relentless march of public roads must be halted in its tracks. If all roads were put into private hands, the advantages would be enormous; public demand would get roads built cheaper and where they are needed. The rich important entrepreneurs would get roads that served their purposes and even the thrifty poor would be able to afford a road that took them to Wal-Mart or wherever they go. Three or four large multi-nationals are all that are needed to run the entire system, they can charge tolls and keep cars with pre-existing faults off those roads making it safer and cheaper for us all.
As it is, citizens are being forced to pay for roads they never use and that go to places they never wanted to go. As an example, I know there is an Interstate Highway between Albuquerque and Amarillo – what use is that to someone in Iowa? But the government will take taxes off all you citizens in Iowa and give it to any John Doe who wants to make that journey, whether they be an illegal alien, a criminal, someone who can scrape together the money for a heap of junk or a drug fiend. Even Darkies can simply steal a car and they are using the road paid for by your taxes.
And what does the law abiding citizen get for his tax dollars? An arbitrary speed limit that no one ever voted on and state employees in uniforms and cars (all funded by your taxes) there to enforce the dictates of Obama’s Washingtongrad.
Are you worried about why Obama would spend this sort of money? You should be! These Interstate Highways can be used to send the military to quash any peaceful demonstration against the creeping tide of sodomites, public schools, socialized medicine, big government, atheists, etc., anywhere in the US. Worse than this however is the threat to national security – you look on a map for Interstate 10. Yes, it is the launch pad for an armed invasion of catholic drug war-lords from Mexico. Once that failed state is taken over by communists, it’ll be “Launch them tanks Jose, straight up Interstate 10 to Arizona to the north and Texas to the east!"
Already in parts of Montana people are rebelling against this ‘egalitarian workers’ paradise’ and building their own roads, some, well over 100 yards long and just over one lane wide – they are free to use and have not cost $1 of taxpayers’ money.
