Although your leader called the war he was ndertaking 'a war on terror'. Interesing that, for the idea of a 'war against terror' is an original one. It is not a war against a state or an ideology (like facism), or even a religion, but against a method. Terrorism is usually considered the use of violnce to attain political ends.

In fact the 'war on terrorism' has a narrow focus. It does not pretend to be against all terrorism. It's only against terrorism directed against the interests and allies of the US. It is not against 'Islamic Terrorism' per se - the sort Washington supported in Afghanistan- but it is against armed Palestinian groups which can no more be described as 'Islamic' than Mussolinin's facism could be termed 'Christian'. Or Landover Baptist as truly following the bible.

Have you seen the price of Halliburton stock lately? Bechtel? Exxon-Mobil? There has never been a better time to invest in the defense and oil industries.

Nor are all the financial benefits going to wealthy Wall Street investors - just look at the great salaries being paid to common mercenaries working for Blackwater and Custer Battles. This is trickle-down economics at its best. As Milton Friedman used to say, "a rising tide lifts all boats."

I've long been suspicious about those "Libertarians." For one thing, the "Liber" part gives it away - they're LIBERALS! For another, they even admit that they are opposed to war and torture - activities which have been blessed by the Lord! They even oppose warrantless wiretapping and government subsidies for Halliburton - that's outrageous! Then they say that they want to balance the budget - we all know that Ronald Reagan proved that budget deficits don't matter.

Let's face it - Libertarians are liberals disguised as Republicans. At least the liberals don't pretend that they aren't communists, but these Libertarians wear the Republican uniform while undermining us from within. They should be shot for treason.

Coming out of the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport one’s eyes are assaulted drawn to this billboard. I take it as a sign that even the lieberal media have at last realized that there are some people who can run a country and some who can’t. This support may even mean that God will protect at least the area around the billboard from hurricane damage!

Obviously, GOP is in high standing in the area, and why not? The “trickle down” effect of massive personal wealth and the benefits of self-interest of the wisest bring untold advantage to the unwashed masses of the Unsaved™.

With the examples that have been set by President GWB and the promise of more of the same to come from his successor Mr Mcain and his able foreign policy specialist VP, the way forwards is clear to see.

Personally, I cannot see why anyone would even think of voting for a Demoncrat Muslim anyway, but there you are.
