Pastafarian Butt-Pirate Suspended

A teenager who mocks God by pretending to believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster was suspended from school for coming dressed as a butt-pirate.

A student has been suspended from school in America for coming to class dressed as a pirate.

But the disciplinary action has provoked controversy – because the student says that the ban violates his rights, as the pirate costume is part of his religion.

Bryan Killian says that he follows the Pastafarian religion, and that as a crucial part of his faith, he must wear 'full pirate regalia' as prescribed in the holy texts of Pastafarianism.

The school, however, say that his pirate garb was disruptive.

Believe me, the only thing keeping that scumbag here is that he perfectly displays just how absurd and ridiculous pastafarian beliefs are as compared to our sensible Christian ones. I've wanted to drop the banhammer on him many times, but realized he's actually more valuable alive.

Maybe it's him, or somebody related to him. I thought it was that Freddie pirate that posts around here.. I'm kind of disappointed this wasn't about him being banned from here. At least followers of his crazy belief are being punished for following something so ridiculous.

If they're going to ban burquas from public schools, banning eyepatches and peg-legs is a logical decision.

As for the student, well if it wasn't known to be a satire religion made up by Bobby Henderson to mock True Christian(TM) education he might of had a chance.

I'm tired of their constant mocking. It's getting old.

It is hard to determine, I agree. Just like those hindoos with their dots and the mooslims with their teatowels. It's just the same as the stupid pirates and their eye-patches..their kind all look the same.
