let me simply start with a disclaimer- I am not here to flame, just discuss and exchange perspective and opinion in a calm way, no yelling, inciting, or insulting, just my honest opinion, nothing is meant to be rude, so please don't take it that way.

On another note, I am an american, I was born in ohio, but have spent a few years in different american cities, though I've never left the country.

and also, I do not worship satan, I do not believe that he exists, I worship nothing, I merely try to live my one life, the only one I believe I have, as best I can.

I read the quotes you posted but I differ from your "cliffnotes" of them

matthew 15:4 clearly says LET them die, not kill them.
the revelations quote doesn't say that it was to feed the birds, merely that the birds ate the flesh.
mark4:11-12 yep, thats right, I never made any claims him wanting slow people in heaven, but it sends them to hell, not to some slow people/atheist internment camp.
luke 12:47 yep, and the bible also contains instructions on how to obtain slaves, how hard to beat them, and when you can have sex with the female slaves. however, that is a whole different topic that I would rather not get into a tangent on, and I will merely say that if you support it in the literal sense that it is your prerogative and we will simply have to agree to disagree on that matter.

Get wisdom and understanding of God's Word, and don't disagree with anything that God says. He places emphasis on understanding what He is saying, also, something you've failed to do.

The first couple of lines sum up the chapter pretty well. Solomon sees human existence as nothing but a stagnant distraction from the Holy Ghost. Knowing that the life you are living is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things would probably lead you to believe that gaining this knowledge makes you more miserable, no? This leads in nicely to the next chapter you bring up.

The wisdom of the world is inconsequential in the realm of God. Only through God will you obtain wisdom. God does not want you to be dumb, God wants you to humble yourself of your worldly knowledge, and if you are to boast, boast in the Word of God, not in worldly matters. "That no flesh should glory in his presence"; "He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord"

You of all people could learn a valuable lesson from this. Whatever knowledge you seem to hold dear won't do you any good come Judgement Day. You need to find Salvation through Christ and Christ alone, everything else is a waste of time and a guarantee for damnation.

I stumbled upon this, and just had to come on and say that I used to be a catholic, am now an atheist, and have many gay and lesbian friends, who will someday get married, and you will never comprehend how extremely PROUD I am to call this my life.

And I know you'll say that this is a private forum, but this is one of the first things that came up in the search results on google when i searched 'atheists'. And it's extremely offensive.

Hold on a second, I wouldn't class myself as an atheist, I'm more agnostic than anything else, but just because some people choose to not believe in God, you pair them up with sex offenders and terrorists?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it said somewhere that God created us with free will? If that's the case, then why would he be mad at us for choosing what we want to believe?

Just because people do not believe in God does not mean that they are inherently bad people, I'm sure the millions of Doctors, Teachers, Paramedics and numerous other jobs and people, who don't believe in God would agree with me.

I'm a teacher, granted I'm not American, but I don't judge people on their beliefs, I couldn't care less if they did or didn't believe in God, as long as they are nice people and have the best interests for their children and their community at heart, I mean, isn't that what God would want?

Going after people for what they believe in is, well, in my own very strong opinion, wrong. History is a giant indicator to that, how do you think the majorities of conflicts started?

If this does get passed, and makes its way to England, I will be fighting against it.

Now, I think I put my point across in the most diplomatic way possible. If I have offended anyone, I apologise, that was not my intention, but I hope that if anyone does reply to this post, that they post back without anything hateful.
