But, I think we Baptists can work with a President who is only a temporary Catlick. That is Newt. His trophy Catlick wife is working out well. But, the clock is ticking on her time with this leader of men--I'm sure his next wife will be a Baptist.

Re: Newt Gingrich May be Our Guy.

Today I was encouraged by a Newt perfomance. He cried over his dead Mother at a political event.

The reason I liked this is because Newt has had no respect for the women in his life, his sister, his wives nor his Mother. He knows the proper place of women and it is much below him.

I would want voters here in Iowa to know these tears of Newt's do not mean he has turned soft. When he is President and destroys Obmacare, you will not see him care one twit about the illnesses going untreated.

Looking like the sensitive male is a political requirement these days. Thankfully, we need not attach any importance to it at all.

In the end, of course, I could not vote for Newt--wanted a Christian who was really angry about abortion, Rick Santorum.

I have to say, Newt was gracious in defeat. He said Romney had lied in his campaign ads. He could have been ungracious and said something terrible about Romney.

Agree, Santorum would never allow a child of his to be aborted for ANY reason. Please note early, medically induced birth is completely different. Then God kills the child because it is not ready for life outside the mother.

Agree, Newt rose above the occasion, despite of all the petty, vile attacks from that liar Mittens.

Re: Newt Gingrich May be Our Guy.

            http://www.alternet.org/drugs/153414...to_smoking_it/

“Newt Gingrich, in 1997, proposed the death penalty for marijuana — for possession of marijuana above a certain quantity of marijuana,” Johnson explained. “And yet, he is among 100 million Americans who’ve smoked marijuana.”

“I would love to have a discussion with him on the fact that he smoked pot, and under the wrong set of circumstance he proposed the death penalty for, potentially, something that he had committed. I have troubles with that,” he added.

Johnson, a former New Mexico governor who has advocated for marijuana legalization since 1999, is at least partially correct about Gingrich’s position.

As Speaker of the House, Gingrich introducedthe “Drug Importer Death Penalty Act of 1996.”

The bill would have required a “sentence of death for certain importations of significant quantities of controlled substances.” It would have applied to anyone convicted more than once of carrying 100 doses — or about two ounces — or marijuana across the border. Defendants would have had a window of 18 months to file their one and only appeal.

“If you import a commercial quantity of illegal drugs, it is because you have made the personal decision that you are prepared to get rich by destroying our children,” the Georgia Republican said at a fundraiser for Rep. Charlie Norwood (R-GA) in 1995. “I have made the decision that I love our children enough that we will kill you if you do this.”

“The first time we execute 27 or 30 or 35 people at one time, and they go around Colombia and France and Thailand and Mexico, and they say, ‘Hi, would you like to carry some drugs into the U.S.?’ the price of carrying drugs will have gone up dramatically.”

U.S. law already allows the death penalty in the cases of large-scale drug operations — or continuing criminal enterprises — that result in murder.

Gingrich charged in 1994 that 25 percent of President Bill Clinton’s White House staff used drugs, but at the same time admitted that he had also smoked pot 25 years earlier.

“That was a sign we were alive and in graduate school in that era,” he explained.

“See, when I smoked pot it was illegal, but not immoral,” Gingrich reportedly told Wall Street Journal reporter Hilary Stout in 1996. “Now, it is illegal AND immoral. The law didn’t change, only the morality… That’s why you get to go to jail and I don’t.”

Re: Newt Gingrich May be Our Guy.

We just cannot throw Newt in the pile of forgotten candidates. The guy really has the nation's interest in his heart.

Like today. He said people of the Negro race should have a paycheck, not a foodstamp. He did not say any other group should have a paycheck instead of a foodstamp because he understands our country.

He knows the only group on foodstamps are the Negros. Other candidates tiptoe around this and imply some of all races are no food stamps.

Newt knows better. I hope he keeps on speaking the truth to the American people.

Manchester, N.H.— The blogosphere piled up with headlines Thursday over a part of Newt Gingrich’s campaign speech involving food stamps and the NAACP, which left the Gingrich campaign scrambling in defense to put Gingrich’s comments in context. “And so I’m prepared if the NAACP invites...

Nice to see you boys taking to the Catholic cause by speaking well of Rick and Newt!

It is about time you bumpkins realised that only a Romanist in the White House will signal the end of Roe v. Wade and that the very idea of electing a magic rock seeing conman follower is surely a sign of Satan winning the very battle for hearts, minds and souls here on earth. And that is EXACTLY why the coons are notorious pie-stealers.

We all know they use the food stamps for booze and lottery tickets in the joo-run convenience stores (you know, the stores that aren't all that fussy about what the stamps are used for).

If they used the food stamps legally then they would have to buy pie crusts and fillings and learn how to bake their own pies. But they are 1) too lazy to learn how, and 2) most of them can't read all that well anyway.

I thank you, Mr. Mayor, for bringing this to our attention.

Not to mention the T-bone steaks and Cadillac cars they so much love. All bought with FOOD STAMPS.

Re: Newt Gingrich May be Our Guy.

I continue to marvel at how Republican Candidate for President Newt takes the high road.

Last night he had only truthful statements to make, no nasty digs. He said, "I have never seen a candidate for the Presidency be as dishonest as Mitt Romeny."

He could have said things much worse, like that Romney colors his hair, or, that he is a Mormon. But, as Presidential timber, he passed on those kind of negative remarks.

I say Newt will ultimately be our Party's nominee.
