Explain this Wendy Davis, Texas Filibuster Thing To Me

I don't understand. The internet is all crazy today, what with SCOTUS stripping the rights of traditional marriage. But this?

And what's with the comments like this?

    Who is she supposedly protecting?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I am not sure who I am more disapointed in, this women for trying to fight for "women rights" or the husband of this women who allows such things. If she was my wife, she would have received 100 lashes and a week locked in the closet for such devil talk!

A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.

This is yet another area where secular law needs to be brought into closer harmony with God's Law. Women are not allowed to speak in church, and the same should hold true for places of government.

      I Timothy 2:9-15
      In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
      II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

We can only hope that Governor Perry calls an emergency session to undo this nonsense. A majority of the people elected officials that would represent them in this issue and others. These elected officials overwhelmingly passed the bill in the house and were well on the way to passing the bill in senate when these shenanigans started. Now the devil's media is lapping up the fact that a bunch of rabble rousers...who were in the minority as far as voting is concerned, but in majority as far as not having a job to keep them from showing up and shouting down a bill that by all rights should have passed legally. This country is going to Hell in a hand basket. Sometimes I'm glad that I'm safely tucked away overseas.

As someone who lives in Texas, this personally affects me.

Basically, the Government introduced a Bill that would PROTECT BABIES. It doesn't outlaw abortion outright (that needs to be done on a Federal level, WHICH WE SHOULD ALL FIGHT FOR. EVEN FETUSES ARE HUMAN AND DESERVE PROTECTION) but it does make it much harder for a woman to get an abortion.

Which is insane. Every baby is a gift from God, and should be treasured as such. I don't care if you've been raped or if you're young. You've also been blessed and you should look at the child as such. Wendy Davis is basically fighting for the right to kill an unborn child. Andy Formen is right to wonder about the woman's husband. He's weak and frankly doesn't have the balls to control his wife. If she were my wife, she would've been in deep trouble for this kind of talk. (She also wouldn't be in government, she would at home, tending to me.)

I just know that when election time rolls around, I WILL NOT BE VOTING FOR WENDY DAVIS. I will be voting for someone who upholds the values of Christ.

This is the most disgusting post I have seen in a long time (even here). If a woman is raped or is too young to bring up a child it is her right to control her own body.

The rights over one's body should not be dictated by a bunch of ideologically guided patriarchs.

You should be ashamed of yourself. You are one disgusting human being.

                  (i) by Gift of God, all women are endowed at birth with the ability to bring up sons, (ii) If she is "too young to bring up children", she's too young to be making these decisions. It is therefore necessary that the State should enact God's Law that there be equal guidance to all.

if by "a bunch of ideologically guided patriarchs." you mean the Demoncrats who will soon control every part of our lives, then I agree! If, however, this is a cruel and bigoted slur against those who keep to God's Word, then, madam, you are damned!

By whose authority? The bodies, both mother and child, belong to the LORD. It is HIS right to control them as He will. Clearly, if a woman is with child, the LORD has deigned to bless her (Psalm 127:3). She may not recognize that blessing, but that doesn't make it any less of a blessing.

One does not have a right to anything that is not given by God first. God gave the right to abort a babe under certain circumstances (such as finding out if a wife has been unfaithful by forcing her to drink poison that would kill an illegitimate child Numbers 5:11-31). If those circumstances are not met, then the abortion is not a right.

A Mayor friend in Texas called my today to tell me a little inside stuff.

He said Rick Perry's order for another legislative Special Session will have a different twist.

Just before the Special Session Rick will sign a stack of execution orders--just to make a point about what happens to people in Texas when they don't behave.

Wendy Davis, as a state senator, fought for cobwebbed rape kits to be dusted off and used. When she ran for state senator, she fought an opponent who garnered much of his income from storefront payroll loans. How dare she do that in Texas. WHAT A SLUT!
