Well, most people consider me to be goth, and I dressed up in a really pretty Renaissance style dress. I got many compliments on it. The people who complimented me were all from church because every Halloween I go to a fall festival at my church.

I am extremely dissappointed in you right now. Totally going off on a topic you probably know nothing about. The sadest thing is, the fact that you aren't gently correcting, you are condmening. If you were gently correcting something you do not agree with, i probably wouldnt be posting this right now. but the fact that all these comments are totally degrading and condemning....its pathetic. The fact you call yourselves Christians and act like that is even worse.
In John 3:14, Jesus says that he did not come to this world to condemn, but to save. As followers of Christ we should follow his lead and also not condemn.
I have a friend who lives over in England. Before you start, he is indeed a Christian. But, he also dresses in black and wears his hair long. Because you do that does not make yourself a Satanist. I know this person pretty well, and he is in no shape or form a Satan worshiper
And before you go off on me saying that you'll pray for me soul, let me tell you that im praying for yours. for surely God is not pleased with the way you are handleing life right now. its sick and wrong. I think you guys are the reason the church is failing and people thing God is not love.

Why thank you, I feel very priviledged to be called that.

Now to be more serious. I know that Jesus isn't the quiet hippy he's made out to be. There are several times in scripture that Jesus got mad at the Pharasees and corrected them. But there are also times when Jesus corrected gently.
Another thing, in Mark after Jesus called Matthew, a tax collector of all people, where did he go for dinner? He dined with the gentiles and the heathens! and here everyone is, being the judge and jury of those exact people that Jesus came to save.
Read YOUR Bible. Don't take my word for it. Look things up. But I'm pretty sure that Jesus loved the sinners and repremended the Pharasees and the people of the Law.

Also, before people get on my case, I made a mistake last night in my Scripture referencing. The verse I wanted was John 3:17, not John 3:14. My bad.

Ouch....that hurts man...it really does...and just because i can't figure how in the world to change my status from unsaved trash to believer, does not mean im not one. I do read my Bible, though I will admit, I should probably read it a tad big more than I usually do. And if you read around the verse I put, not 3:14 but 3:17, which is the one I meant, you will see I did not take it out of context.

God's true Word is a Love Letter to us. You may take the Bible however you please, but really people, do you really think that God sits up in Heaven, a big paddle in hand, waiting to thwack all those that do wrong? No! My point is, I suppose, perhaps you guys could...be more tactful in your correcting. If I were a non-Christian, looking at this site, I would think "Wow, why should I follow Christ, when these so-called Christians are doing the exact same thing I'm doing? Christianity is more than rules and regulations. Its love, grace, mercy, forgiveness. Yes, God gave us rules, but not to go around and beat people with them! When I read this...I am reminded of the Pharasees. Those people got so caught up in the law they forgot what God is truly about, and the missed the Messiah because of it.

And wow, again, I will go back to what I've been saying all along, your personal walk with Christ is not something for random people to judge. It is between them and God.
