How you are enjoying your new sweater? I know how cold it has been this winter. Mom says that you should wear it often and not worry about wearing it out; she's already knitting another one for you. It might take a while. She's not as quick with yarn as she used to be.

Dear Mother King;

I want to thank you again from the bottom of my True Christian™ heart for that wonderful sweater you knitted for me last summer. Now that the cold weather has set in, I wear it almost every day! It's the warmest thing in Freehold, next to Christ's Love.

The only problem I've had with the sweater is when I travel in the Oriental countries doing my missionary work. Slant-eyed homers tend to follow me down the street whenever I wear your sweater, offering to commit sodomy with me for money. I have no idea why...

I am looking forward to slipping into the next sweater you send along. Take your time, because I know your arthritis must be acting up during these cold winter days.

I hand knitted this for this for him back in 2005 and have never seen him wear it ONCE.

It seems lately he likes your knitting and pancakes better than mine....?

What kind of wool did you use? If you pick one with a little acrylic in it, it will feel softer.

Because when someone doesn't wear a certain sweater, I've noticed it's usually because it's a little scratchy? (No offense.)

I'm sure Brother Norman's mother is quite well, B-J. Why, I saw her sitting in the upstairs window, knitting away in her rocker, just the other day!
