Can you Play?

Now, I love to play on a Banjo.

There is nothing more satisfying than curling your hand around this firm instrument and strum away to some of your favourite melodies.

My late Husband used to warn me not to play with his instrument too vigorously for fear I should break his Banjo String so I didn't get to play as often as I would have liked, but when I did he always enjoyed my Licks.

For some reason I though you were talking about my breakfast since I though you had said something about sausage. I couldn’t understand why you were asking about playing with my breakfast.

Oh heavens no. I am very careful with my banjo and take good care of it. It was a big issue with my ex-wife before she went insane and I had to put her away. She was always begging me to see it and was calling me a coward for no letting her touch it. Thank The Lord I remained strong despite her begging or a toaster upside my head wouldn’t have been my only problem when she finally lost it.

I'm certainly glad we cleared up that little matter. Whilst I was at your house I noticed what a mighty fine Organ you have tucked away gathering dust. Do you ever get time to Play on it?

Well, I hate to blow my own horn, but I'm told I'm a rather gifted pianist.

I do so enjoy stroking the smooth, silky keys of my eight feet of grand piano, creating beautiful harmonies as I jointly work the ebony and the ivory. Gentle at first, my playing draws me in, and arouses my guests' full attention. In time, I build to a resounding climax which leaves everyone breathless. Why, I want to shout GLORY TO GOD every time I lay my hands upon that fine piece!

Admittedly, I appreciate the excited comments and eager glances I get from visitors, male and female alike, when they see my well-polished instrument in the main parlor. They gasp with delight, and many beg for a chance to touch it themselves! As long as they promise to be gentle, I usually oblige them.

Well, in my few moments of free time when I'm not rebuking demons or shooting at random movements in the woods on my estate, I do enjoy my mouth organ. I even play with oriental ones. Quite relaxing.

I've played a couple instruments in my time. I do like the piano. And please, do you all think that just for once you could leave out the probable filthy remarks which will no doubt be along the lines of something about my playing the 'flesh flute'?

We here at Landover really are truly blessed musicians, if I do say so myself. JESUS himselfs smiles upon us when we praise HIM iwth music.

The only thing I can really play is the tamborine......but I have a wonderful singing voice (See GOD's Favorite Band below) and Tater is one heck of a guitar player.

Sister Tali is being modest.....you should see her play and empty Dicken's Cider Jug!
