I confess to having cut off all of my long hair just under a year ago.

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Afterwards I would pray with fervor.

            1 Corinthians
11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
You removed your covering, and it is a shame for a woman's head to remain uncovered. Much less, be able to put it to good use washing Pastor Ezekiel's feet.

Luke 7:37-38 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Re: I have seen the light and SUPPORT Brother Zeke!

Thank you for all the kind reminders about the sin of my having short hair. In an effort to confess all, I have changed my avatar picture to show a barely visable image of how short my hair really was.

Please understand, I was under a lot of stress when I had it cut and was not thinking clearly. My brother had died in 2007; my father died in 2008 and my mother died six months later in 2009.

When my father died, I rushed teary-eyed to my hair styist and begged her to get rid of my black hair. It seemed that I had been wearing black and shopping for black clothes forever and I wanted it over with. The hair stylist said that stripping out the black would damage my hair unless I was willing to get it cut much shorter. That, I would not do, so I left with my long, black locks still in place.

After my mother died, I was sick with a serious case of larengitis for many, many weeks. Under doctor's orders not to speak AT ALL, and having no cable and no internet and thus no LBC to keep me in line, I went crazy and had all my hair cut off shortly before returning to work.

It did not help that my voice, while improved at this time, was husky. The hair stylist ( not my usual person ) no doubt took me for a dyke and left barely enough hair to cover my scalp.

I am now growing out my hair once more, in accordance to God's law set forth in the Pauline doctrines.

But enough about me and my hair. The pertinent point of this thread is the support of Pastor Zeke who labors so hard on the Lord's behalf.

Would you begrudge him a simple little foot washing? Perhaps if I wore a head covering, I would be deemed worthy of this function.

If not, perhaps I could look on and offer guidance as some other sister were to attend to this honored task. I could perhaps offer a neck and shoulder massage, whilst some other young lady attends to his sanctfied feet.

I regret that I will be unable to tend to his toes, as I have a firm yet tender touch. Still, Biblical ordinance must always be obeyed

                Sadly Yours,

                Handmaiden
