Not at all, just say that Zekie boy might find the Madeira to cat-o-lick for his liking, and he has said he does not like ethnic food, so the paprika may need to be changed too.

Paprika is used in a lot of good American food. How else would I make deviled eggs? Anyway, I found the recipe on line, I haven't tried it as my shipment of sea turtles was stopped at the border.

If the Good Pastor has an issue with the recipe, he can bring it up with me. Who are you to speak for the mouth of the Lord?

Who cares what the name of the wine is? Grapes is grapes. If it goes well with fried turtle it's OK with me. Personally, I prefer to drink Chardonnay with my fried turtle. I find that the red wine is just too heavy to eat with fresh seafood.

We tend to use turtles for riding, not eaten, But I would have thought a red would go with them better.

As much as I enjoy deep-fried Leatherback nuggets (which are faaaar better than Hawksbill or Loggerhead!), it gets old after awhile, if you know what I mean.

For truly fine Louisiana dinning, I understand the BP execs are savoring the sweatbreads from Louisiana black bear -- it's a raw dish, best served still warm.

It seems to me that recent events require a French inspired du jour cuisine, given that BP is burning of vast amounts of oil and methane. Deep Sea Oil and Methane Roasted Gulf Turtle ala Nouvelle-Orléans should be a culinary delight.

If you guys come down here you should try Koala a true delicacy from the Australian bush. We call the meat "Tree Pork"

These furry menaces taste delicious, especially Koala ribs, smoked then served with a spicy hickory sauce they can't be beat.

Oh yeah. There are few things better than Tree Pork. What's also good is fire-blackened echidna. Make a fire, let the coals die down and just toss the echidna on. It takes about 15 minutes too cook through if you've got the fire right, and the spines just come right off. Delicious!

A couple of times I've been in Tasmania and had Tasmanian Devil. It's good, but it's not as good as koala. They say that those facial tumors, though they look really ugly, don't affect the flavor.
