Sounds like to me that you darn well deserved that beating!

Why, every time I burn one of Pastor Zeke's steak I know a black eye is coming. I take it like the True Christian™ woman I am. I KNOW I deserved it.

What are you going to do next? Start wearing pants and want to work outside of the home?

      Are you nuts?
That's enough to justify disiplining you (even more) senseless.
You deserved that beating and then some!

Brother Guy, I know you mean well, but I fear the sick witch will take that as a command to seek out a New Zealand female to "marry"...
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

If y'all are married, you shouldn't be wearing no hotpants or miniskirts like a scarlet woman. Your husband's right to want to show you a bit of discipline, so as maybe you'll learn to act more like a lady.

I completely agree, Miss Maisie honey! Why if I dared to strut my stuff in sinful outfits like that even around the house, my GODLY son-in-law would give me the butt-whooping of my sorry little life!

I see our text-girl hussy needs to learn a thing or two from us True Christian™ ladies on how to dress more modestly!

Oh, he is indeed, Sister! I'm such a lucky widow to have a son-in-law as caring and thoughtful as Mr Godwin! And what a nice dress too! Mr Godwin has such good taste in women's clothes, he has bought me a new frock just like it, and I'm looking forward to wearing it to Church on Thanksgiving, along with new winter hat, coat, boots and gloves! Mr Godwin is so good as to remind me regularly of the virtues of female modesty, for it is written ...

1st Peter 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel ...

                    Praise!

Only a week? You shouldn't be wearing such sinful clothes anyway. Mini-skirts and hot pants cause men to sin and commit adultry.

Ladies should always wear skirts that go down at least to the ankles. All of my wife's skirts go down nearly to the floor to also hide her feet. She won't be tempting any man to sin, that's for sure.

Your husband is to libral. You needed to be punished a lot harder for those things.

Do you have your husband's permission to post here? If not, be gone you simple-minded woman!

Call the police, Department of Children and Families, or a lawyer. If he thinks it's justified to beat you then divorce him because it's only going to get worse.

Sir, the bible is clear that a man's right is to discipline his women. My Momma listens to my Daddy, as a proper lady should, and when my betrothed returns from Iraq, I'll listen to him as I've been raised a lady.

The bible doesn't amount to shit when it comes to the law. That is why there is a SEPARATION of Church and State.

You are not Christians, you are all evil, hateful monsters going under false pretenses.

And if you are so Philo-Bush then the reality is that your "betrothed" will surely meet his untimely end to the "mooselimbs" I hear so much from you all about.

No, we are promoting order and discipline. Which is really, truly more violent: giving a woman a few swift, necessary backhanders, or letting her husband suffer the pain and misery of an overcooked steak over and over again, night after night?

I am totally sorry this woman was beaten this way.

When I correct my wife it is always on her bare bottom, not anywhere else, as mutually agreed upon in our contract. I never bruise her.
She gets a bit pink at times, though.

I don't believe in severe beatings. My wife and I have too good of a relationship for that.

It sounds like the husband needs to refocus on the way he does things.
