    Re: Ask an ex-Aussie

A jolly swag man is a person who lived of the bush and went around looking for work. Generally a working traveller back in the depression days. His swag being his bedding and a tent most of the times with a few bits and pieces like his iron pot to cook stuff in, and that was about that really for these guys that travelled all over the place.
    (2 Peter 3:10)

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Are the majority of Australian's still Jolly swag men? In America we call them homeless.

Brother Deaner I'm surprised at you, buying into that touchy-feely "PC" nonsense.

I still call 'em hobos and bums.

          Re: Ask an ex-Aussie

Does that mean all Aussies are hobos? How about Abbos? is a hobo a cross between a homer and an Abbo? Help me, for I have to live in this land of beach, sun and depravity for many years still.

I believe Dr. Hovind to be completely innocent of the alleged crime of "tax evasion", and furthermore believe Hovind's 10 year sentence to be patently unjust and based upon an effort to silence his ministry.

You tell us, you're the one who has to live there. What are you seeing? Do the hobos live on the beach?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Oh, all the time, they seem to enjoy holding a big piece of wood between their legs, also, although I think they call themselves "surfers", must be the PC or the Aussie slang way of saying homersexural.
