I hope that you understand that atheism only refers to the refers to the fact they they believe that there isn't a god. Not all atheists believe in the same theory about how the earth became what it is. Evolution does not say we evolved from monkeys it means that we evolved from animals that were similar to monkeys. Such as the neanderthal and cro magnon man. They don't exist while monkies and humans do today. for your first point you can't use the bible to prove that the bible is right. Computors and cars aren't mentioned in the bible does that mean they don't exist?

Of course we can use the Bible, what part of it's God's Word don't you understand?

1) How can a book prove god exists? Couldn't it just be a mortal man who wrote it?

2) Well, most scientists (around 99.5 %) believe evolution is the correct answer, and to support this claim they have several skeletons and dna-samples that points in the direction that we evolved from a specific species of apes (difference between monkeys and apes being the great similarity between humans and apes (http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...imp_genes.html))

3) Of course most atheists wouldn't be able to answer that question as it is not possible with the current knowledge of the universe, but recent trials in CERN gave us the Higgs particle, which hopefully will lead us to a greater understanding of the universe and an answer to how the big bang came to be.

As a non-religious person, I do not go about my whole life preparing for my death in terms of going to heaven or hell. I spend my days enjoying myself and the loving people around me. So all-in-all I don't live a miserable life at all and I eat healthy because if I don't I will become fat and die of clocked arteries or something else, which fries, fatty cheeses etc. has shown to cause (though I do love the bacon).

9) True, I won't be able to be sure until the day I die. You might be right and I might be going to hell then but that's a gamble I'll be willing to take. But on the other hand, I might just die and become a fertilizer in the great eco-system we call planet earth, and in that case I would prefer to have lived life as I wanted (though nothing illegal).

10) I would say that it is free will to question religion and finding another reason for our existence. I was baptized (danish protestant) as a baby, but as I grew older found it odd that a single supernatural being should be responsible for everything, when I had hard proof right in front of me to explain the questions I had about life and everything. Not saying your belief is wrong, no way to know that, but I chose not to believe in god and in that way express my free will in my own way.
