  • I noticed a burning lowercase T outside last night.

After a hard days work of re-pavin the gold tithers parking lot I headed home late for a little shut eye at my modest cottage on the outskirts of Freehold that I rent from nice white folk, I couldn’t help but notice in the distance what I thought to be a burning cross or a lowercase T on fire. I initially thought it was one of those witch burnin’ trials that the residents of Freehold love so much, but I didn’t smell no burning sage or pork in the air. Thinkin’ it suspicious, I decided to leave it alone. This morning I step out and wouldn’t you know it? The wind must’ve somehow blew it onto my front doorstep! Now I don’t know it’s purpose or who it belongs to, but if you want it back, I have it. I figure it the right neighborly thing to do, and the White Jesus knows I ain’t no thievin Nigra.

It's probably some mistake, Brother Rutherford. UPS drivers get addresses mixed up all the time. Happens to others also.

I've heard fire extinguisher salesmen start fires, then put them out with what they are selling. Might be that? Or, something to hang laundry on? I wouldn't worry about it.

I'll ask next week at the Senior Center. Busy bodies there know what is going on in Freehold.

Oh, my! What a terrible thing for you to witness, dear Mr. Rutherford. It must have scared the living daylights out of you, to have seen that fire taking place. I am most grateful to the that you suffered no injury. Now, then, I so hope that this little setback won't keep you from finishing the re-paving of the gold tithers' parking lot. One must not become slack in one's line of duty!

As for the most unfortunate event of the burning cross, I asked my sister (Agatha) if she had heard about it. No, she had not; so, I checked with some online resources. Nobody seems to have any knowledge of this, including Fox News. I could find nothing — except for some dastardly, insulting nonsense, created by those evil Demonrats, designed to target our beloved President Trump. I shall include the item here, just so you can see — for yourself — how disgusting those LIE-beral losers are! Now, isn't this just the most horrible thing that you've ever seen in your entire life, dear Mr. Rutherford?

I believe you saw one of those in the past, and it turned out to be a giant "T" from a Trump rally? If I were you, I'd keep it and proudly display it! You might even light it up at night to make it more noticeable!

Rutherford, as I recall this is the second time this has happened. Being a Nigra, you won't know this but this is just something that we red-blooded white Christian Republicans do. It's a display of patriotism and part of our culture. I'm sure everyone in Freehold is aware that you b̶e̶l̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ work for Pastor Ezekiel Himself, so they're just having a bit of harmless fun.

From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

If it was a lower case 't', it was probably kids.

I must say, this is indeed the second time I’ve seen this happen. With all the hootin and hollerin over at the burnings, I must say it looks like a lot of white folk havin fun. I hope I am invited to the next one because it looks like it’s a lot of innocent fun, even if I don’t understand why it is a tradition or whatnot. That said, I still have this burned cross on my lawn for whoever is still lookin’ for it.

If the cross in not burned too badly it might be recycled as a telephone pole.
