You are seeing contradictions in Scripture only because you insist on reading it literally. As Maimonides said, we should not read it literally. Instead, we should engage the text to see how its moral truths are expressed through allegory.

So which parts of God's Word do you chose to believe? Do even believe that that Jesus lived and died (temporarily) for your sins? Or is the baby Jesus just an allegory for you?

I do not see how you can consider yourself a Christian if you don't believe in the Book that it is based upon.

Landover and That Website have been going back and forth for a while on this subject. Because the people who run That Website are a bunch of atheists and enjoy mocking religious people they claim there are contradictions, we don't. Frankly That Website stole the list from Pastor Pistle in the first place from Pastor Pistle's "Sermons on Tape" series, that's why we don't mention That Website here.

Pastor Al's point, which you missed by a mile, is that every one of those so-called "contradictions" is easily explained. They only appear to be contradictions to unsaved folks like yourself who love not the Truth.

Robert T Lee, an ex-atheist, defines atheism as

a denial of the existence of God in the midst of full knowledge that the true God does indeed exist. Atheism knows God exists; it is quite familiar with that fact, but it says "under no circumstance or situation will I admit to God's existence." Atheism clearly perceives the fingerprints of God on all of creation, but refuses to admit He is the Creator.

Sound a little familiar there?
