I've already explained to you that Goth is a genre of music/a fan of Goth Rock. If you are not a fan of Goth Rock, you're not a Goth. Cannibal Corpse are far from Goth.

Having done what you would call 'my research' I'm afraid that I will have to rebuke you here. If we take what you say to be true (it probably isn't) then you have still stabbed yourself in the back with your own argument. The band Cannibal Corpse is a heavy metal rock band. You claim that goths are a fan of goth rock. BOTH OF THESE MUSIC GENRES ARE ROCK MUSIC, THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME, IN THE SAME WAY THAT EGGPLANT AND CUCUMBER ARE BOTH VEGETABLES, AND BOTH USED FOR ANAL SEX.

In addition to this, as we know that rock music is satanic (Thank you, Pastor Zeke) we can deduce that goths are damned to hell, so, thank you for persecuting us (Matthew 5:10) and please don't break the door on your way out. THIS IS NOT A DEBATE FORUM.

Then you people should research before you post things like "a typical Goth outfit is a Cannibal Corpse shirt." If you don't want to be corrected, make sure what you're going to say is correct. Nor is there a "uniform."

It's not a big assertion. Thousands of people are into horror films/horror art, and they don't all go around killing people or mutilating bodies, or trying to do everything they see in a horror film or a piece of artwork.

Do you have any proof that anyone, who was not already mentally unstable and should not have been allowed excess exposure to those things, were directly influenced by these images and tried to emulate them in such a way?

There is nothing extreme about supporting a band by wearing their shirt, liking artwork, or liking horror films. Anyone who is not mentally unstable, and who has been raised properly, is aware that horror films/images like that are FAKE and that you don't do what is in the film/image. Even my son will sit there and tell you "it's not real. You can't do that."

If someone posted Cannibal Corpse and referred to them as Goth, as someone who worked in Goth clubs, you should know very well how off that is and that these people probably weren't Goths. Or at best, are confused little babybats still learning the difference between goth and metal.

That is far from a "typical goth outfit." You should know that a "typical goth outfit" would usually be basically like punk in black or the romantigoth/victorian goth look.

A typical goth outfit, and although reluctant to include the 2nd link I understand that parents often face comments such as "nobody will do anything too extreme" from goth-curious teenagers and reliable evidence that this is not so is essential for them. Unless this sort of thing is considered not too extreme? in which case we are left to ponder what the goth would consider extreme.

It's same thing as with messicans and other injuns.

I've heard that the goth admires aboriginal cultures, dreamcatchers, "special" crystals (they declare them "empowering") and the like. But their languages contain as few as 300 words altogether, or less. Blubber might be one such word, boomerang or yak might be others.

Conversation is extremely linited. None of them have a word for Salvation. How then should the goth be Saved? In the language systems (having neither writing nor metals) these goths revere there is no word for Jesus. Satan is altogether obscured (although the goth culture itself adores him) and grunts is about as good as it gets. And burps in yakdom I suppose. Don't some of them grunt extra hard and get bell-like harmonics in the cranium? That's it for goths. Grunts, bells and HELL FOREVER. It makes me sick.

I do understand and speak some eskimo languages, but the real problem is writing. Although most of the clicks and grunts are about snow and whale blubber, there is an actual language behind all those crude noises. Written language however is entirely different thing. In fact, there were no such thing, until recently. Most of them can't write even today, and writings of those few who can always looks really clumsy. It's because they are just trying to imitate civilised languages, like Godly American.
