This song is about Cassie Bernall, a student at Columbine High School who was killed in the massacre that occurred there. It was reported that her killer asked her if she believed in God, and when she answered "Yes" he killed her with a single gunshot to the head. Later investigations revealed that the question "Do you believe in God?" was actually asked to Valeen Schnurr, a student who survived the Columbine Massacre, by shooter Dylan Klebold. She thought it was really cool they stood up for what they believed in because not many people stand up for what they believe in anymore. Also, about Sophie Lancaster...The reason why the people you called 'Goths' were defending her, is because you guys were being very offensive. Also, I highly doubt it that her murderers were Christians. Harris later claimed to police he punched Mr Maltby because he was 'drunk and showing off'. Does that sound very Christian to you? Culture can never truly disappear. It can be hidden by time, but it cannot disappear entirely.

Tell that modern Sumerians and Assyrians. Personally, I would love to meet a modern Sumerian I have so many questions to ask about this fascinating culture. Wait, why moderns scholars waste their time deciphering ancient documents and conducting archaeological excavations, when they could simply observe the living cultures? .... Right, because ancient cultures are dead, and people who think that they can revive a dead culture 1000 or more years after it's dead are out of their minds.

Whether you want it or not, you're a product of 21st century, sweetie. You can try to deny it by throwing away your cell phone, computer, and trying to live a 100% self sufficient life somewhere in a forest. If you keep showing up it will mean that you're still part of modern Western culture, and not a priestess of a dead ancient religion.

Culture can be hidden by time. How is that hard to understand? Time can cause many things to make the practices of a culture be hidden, but they will still be somewhere under the surface. Whether the surface is water, sand, earth, etc., some evidence of what these people did will always remain for those skilled with the knowledge to unearth it.

You are confusing culture as a whole (non-biological aspects of what it is to be human, including religion, language, customs, symbols = LEARNED BEHAVIOR) with material culture, which are material things (objects, buildings) made by people. Material culture is the one that can be "covered by water, sand, earth." Learned behavior cannot be "covered," but it is frequently modified and sometimes forgotten. You can learn a little about ancient people's lives and beliefs based on material culture (what did their temples look like, how did they bury their dead, what were their dietary preferences, did they have social stratification), but the entire culture can never be recovered.

Even though anthropologists are a bunch of left-wing liberals, it would do you some good to take an introductory course in cultural anthropology/ethnography. You definitely could learn something. However, I must warn you, that if you tell an anthropologist/ethnographer that you're a modern priestess of a dead religion, his reaction may hurt your feelings.
