Who but a goth would revere such detritus? If your child is a Godless goth drawing attention to themselves by looking as much like exactly every other goth you've ever seen wearing lipstick like a circus freak hanging out with pornstars and eyeing up your pets remind them about what God thinks of murder orgies, what gothic "poets" do at Lake Geneva (or did, they having been killed at this late stage for their feeble attempts to seduce Christians all of which failed).

Without your guidance they will finish up in HELL FOREVER but if they disobey your instructions The Bible is clear what to do next.

Marilyn Manson is a stage name. It's no joke that anyone would choose to name themselves for a mass murder event. There have been others of course, Children of Bodom for example, but they don't claim to be creative artistes who respect Christianity. They say they are demon possessed maniacs who want to burn down churches.

When Goth culture is defended on this website, they are always countered with strongly worded euphemisms. Claiming that all goths are related to satanism, moody, rebellious teenagers, or cults. Goth culture is however, more closely akin to the aesthetic movements, specifically in architecture, and of course, literature. In fact, I have written on Gothic literature from time to time. And I find it to be an absolutely fascinating movement. Coming out of the medieval era, there was a fascination with marrying the grotesque with the sublime. And the literature truly reflects this. We saw the beginnings of "Supernatural Horror" in some of these stories. Even if the pros are a touch purplish. And indeed, I take a great deal of inspiration from the legacy that these writings leave behind. And it seems that in every age, there is a subset of the population for which a sort of diriger of modern culture simply will not do. They seek out darkness, which this literature represents. And it seems this Goth culture is merely following a long and glorious line going back to Edgar Allen Poe, the Decadence, and many others. And I heartly recommend Goth culture. There is nothing wrong with wearing black. Or talking about death. It seems like a very wholesome way going about the day.
