ok...first of all i want to make it VERY CLEAR THAT I DO NOT WORSHIP THE DEVIL OR SATAN/NEVER HAVE/NEVER WILL before i continue...

i want to address some of these things...
-"wears band tee-shirts"...i have a bon jovi tee shirt...that doesnt mean that i worship the devil
-i have piercings and tattoos--that doesnt mean that i worship the devil
-i have many friends that own black clothing, as i do---NONE OF US WORSHIP THE DEVIL...WE HAVE DISCUSSED IT AT LENGTH BECAUSE I DONT LIKE TO ASSOCIATE WITH PPL THAT WORSHIP THE DEVIL EITHER
-i havent been to church since i was 7
-i've never read the bible
-i HAVE drank alcohol
-i have cut and burn myself in the past...i didnt do it because i was trying to avoid god, i did it because my father was beating me and my mother and throwing us down stairs and threatning to kill himself and i was sad...
--seriously..."complains of bordum"?? that means that your child sits at home too much and needs to get out more. IT MEANS THAT THEY'RE BORED...DUH...
--"Sleeps too excessively or too little"--I also have this problem where i'll sleep for 12 hours at a time if you let me...this has nothing to do with the devil, its called an underactive thryoid and i dont have the money for the meds to fix it.
-because of the sleeping for 12 hours at a time, this causes me to be "excessively awake during the night"..again, this has nothing to do with the devil
--and really...the thing with the cereal...come on...its whole grain cereal with marshmallows...just like lucky charms...theres nothing ungodly about that, its just grains and sugar...

i could go on and on forever, as i'm sure everyone has figured out. my point is, i'm 22 years old, i have experienced many of the things listed, know many people that have also experienced them, and NONE of these people are devil worshipers...many of them attend church regularly because they DO BELIEVE IN GOD AND RESPECT HIM AS HIGH BEING AND CREATER AND ALL MIGHTY AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT GOD IS SAID TO BE. the way you dress, the cereal you eat, the amount of sleep you get...this is rediculous. get a grip people...

I would also like to address some things here. I'm not going to list and state them off word for word, but, I do many of those things, yet I still believe in God, have never claimed to worship the devil, and nor will I. I was always brought up with God, I'll die with God. I honestly think that this list should be greatly revised.

One other thing I won't understand, is, how does sleep have anything at all to do with it? I -have- to stay up late so that I can work, eat and survive. The only reason I don't like sunlight is not because I claim to bea vampire or not enjoy His light. It's because my eyes are no longer used to it. It hurts my eyes, and that's again because I have to work late, so I can survive. I've cut myself sure, but that was on accident. So if you meant the purposeful kind, then I apologize. I must have misread it.

In closing, I suppose I'm with the previous poster. I don't worship the devil, or one of his many names. I never have, nor will I.

Here is a little article I wrote about Goths,
Most teenagers go through various rebellious phases in their mid to late teens, you might say there is nothing new in that, since the 1950's we have seen teenagers being Rockers, Teddy boys, Mods, Punks, New Romantics, Ravers, etc. Its a phase that usually passes before they turn into normal members of society.

Yet since the mid 80's we have seen a new breed of teenagers turn into something far more sinister, The Goth ! These creatures of the night aren't normal teenagers going through a phase, they have been possessed by the Devil himself. They adorn themselves in black Victorian era clothing and look like extras from a Dracula film. Their skins are white, their hair is dark and weirdly cut (usually dyed black) they wear long black coats and even the men wear eye make-up (sure sign of being a Sodomite) They have piercings in the most unusual places which would even make the savages of Africa cringe with pain.
What are Goths ?
Well they are certainly not normal people, they believe in Nostradamus and the Doomsday book, their tiny minds are constantly in fantasy land dreaming of Anarchy and Dungeons and Dragons. Their youth is slowly eroding away whilst in a depressive suicidal state. Nothing can make these vile creatures smile, they are in a permanent sullen mood. (I have personally witnessed parents taking their little spawns of Satan on expensive holidays trying to coerce them back into reality, unfortunately their souls have long since belonged to the Devil. You can see the pain and shame on their parents suffering faces, they must be asking themselves where have they gone wrong, "why us"?

Goths have a fascination with macabre subjects and an obsession with death. Their usual haunts are around church yards and grave yards, they don't like to mix with society. Majority come from troubled backgrounds whilst others are from well to do families. They usually adorn themselves in crucifix's which they see as pre-christian religious symbols, whilst others use various pagan symbols, however they definitely don't follow the Christian religion. Later in life they usually turn into Nazi's', drug addicts, rapists, murderers, Devil worshipers, kiddie fiddlers. abusers, and every other disgusting practice that the world has to offer.

If this was your son or daughter you would want to drown or shoot it !
Do you suspect that your son or daughter could be a Goth? is it always depressed, wears black clothes and has an obsession with wanting to sacrifice the family pet ? if this is the case you have a problem !
What can you do?
1) Repaint their bedroom from black into bright summer colours
2) Dye its hair blond
3) Burn all its black clothes
4) Smash all its Death Rock CD's and delete its hard drive on its PC. Destroy its DVD's of the Crow and any Dracula films it has
5) Force it under a sun bed or put it in the garden on a sunny day in its underwear. (put colour back into its skin)
6) Force it to laugh and enjoy itself, make it watch comedy or cartoons
7) Remove its piercings
8.) Pray to God and hope he forgives your foolish child for their sins, because they have committed acts according to the bible which carry the death penalty.
9) Keep it away from the local chapel of rest, (they see these places as a brothel) They are known to follow necrophilia.
10) Remove all sharp objects, lengths of cord/rope and any medicines in your house, some have totally been possessed and would easily take their own life.

This is to Brother Temperance, the senior pastor. I do not appreciate you talking so rudely about my 6 year old sister. She is an adorable child, that I have brought God into her life.

I have plenty of proof of Goths that are Christians! Methodists believe in the God almighty that made this Earth & that does not judge for outward appearance, but for the sins, hearts & souls.

As a senior minister, I would think you would know better then to speak such words of untruth & rudeness, do you honestly believe God wants you to treat others that way? You should know better.
