I found this on this very site, posted by a Reverend. I did cut and paste, yes. The color was the one he chose. And besides, is not our blood red? so that means we're Satanists? And no, im in perfect mental health. I came here seeking knowledge. I know little about Christiannity . But it seems that you're so insecure in your belief, you can't give me a valid argument. You are misunderstanding why Jesus was condemning the Pharisees. He was not condemning them for following the Law, rather He was condemning them for being hypocrites. Look at how often Jesus uses the word "hypocrite" in the above chapter.

We, on the other hand, are not hypocrites because we follow all of the Bible 100%, word-for-word. You like to cry out that we aren't tolerant, therefore we aren't good Christians, so I challenge you to find scriptural verse where it commands us to be tolerant.

Finally, Jesus Himself did not come to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it(Matt. 5:17). Jesus recognized the Law (Old Testament) and believed we should all follow it. What set him apart from the Pharisees is that He was not a hypocrite.

This is why im Atheist. Religion divides us. It causes us to hate each other. Long gone were the days of no religion, where everyone loved and respected each other.

Also, do you realize how absurd it is say you believe in Satan but not believe Christianity, Judaism, or Islam's view of it? Satan is from the Abrahamic religions! This makes as much sense as saying "I believe in Vishnu, but I disagree with Hinduism's version of it." or "I believe in Xenu but disagree with Scientology's version of it.".

By the way, that award was unnecessary. As I said, the source Bible said what I wrote, and I said I beleive in A GOD, a higher being, but not any current interpretation.

Anyone who says they are both an atheist and a believer of God on the same page certainly qualifies. Your award also recognizes you for claiming that "love thy neighbor" is one of the Ten Commandments, and when I called you out on it you had the nerve to change the Bible and add it in then post your revised commandments! So yes, you qualify by miles.

I did not "Modify the Bible". I found it on a site that may have modified it. And you call that an infraction? You do know the Original Bible had Hundreds of Gospels. You must know that. But they removed all but Four.

You have a serious problem. You want to discuss a subject you know nothing about. You are like a way too skinny guy who will not eat food. You want to be near because you'd like to know about it but will not take a bike to see if you like it and refuse to eat.
I am no Bible Scholar like a Pastor or Reverend but I have read most texts of other religions. Just like food, you have to be familiar with them all to know you made the right choice. You need to read the books and think about them. You need to think with information. You cannot ask a question if there is no underlying knowledge. The only people who do that are 3 year olds. They ask the same question "Why?" and get the same response "Because I said so" until they have enough knowledge to formulate a concept and a thought.

Again, I thank you for stating valid points, Mr Hutchins.
Anyways, I never insulted Christ. I said that several people on this site are completly intolerant of anyone who does not share their beliefs. I know for a fact that the vast majority of Christians are kind, tolerant people who attempt to convert others through reasoned discussion and being polite rather than blatant insults. The days of The Crusades are over. People will follow polite people rather than people who insult, berate and ridicule.
Personally, I am Atheist, as I have stated before. Does that mean I'm a Satanist? No. I acknowledge there is evil and good at work in our world, but not as any religion so far has depicted it.
I came to this site hoping to better understand the Christian point of view. So far, most people here have done nothing but insult me and ridicule me. They, most of the time, chose not to answer any of my questions, but tell me im going to hell. Maybe I am. I think that a person should be judged based on their actions, being good or evil, not their faith.
Please, anyone who wants to answer this post, use sound and reasdoned arguments, not Religion Fanaticism.

You seem to be confused between insults and tolerance. Previously, it was pointed out to you (by Brother Levi, I think) what the difference is. Political correctness is unhealthy.

Say a girl dated you and did not like you. But you took her to nice restaurants. So she continues to date you. You think she likes you. Instead, she is using you. If you asked her, she'd lie and tell you she enjoys your company. If she were honest, she'd tell you she likes the fact you buy her nice dinners.

We will not allow you eat our food. We demand 100% honesty. We love our fellow man and therefore everything we say and do is for good, Godly purpose. If you want people to coddle you and lie, talk to someone who does not care about you.

Son, knowledge is not handed to you on a plate like a slice of pizza. You must grow the vegetables, feed the lamb. When the vegetables are ripe, you must harvest them and slaughter the lamb. You prepare them in the kitchen to have a fine meal. Knowledge is the same way. Knowledge is not something that is had in a paper bag from a burger joint. You have to nurture it, grow it, develop it. Then you can take the fruits of information and prepare hypothesis and questions.
