I notice that the Christians are avoiding answering. Is not one of the Ten Commandments 'Love thy neighbour'? So why do you people insult, berate and persecute all those who are different? Are you afraid they're right? Is that why you want them all dead?

There is no "love thy neighbor" in the Ten Commandments. Open up your KJV Bible and look for yourself. Allow me to quote the real Bible to you.

Exodus 20

But still. Why would you NOT love everyone? Why do you insist on insulting and hating everyone that's different from you? You wonder why Christiannity is the 2 most hated religion after Islam? (a sad fact, since only Muslim extremists are terrorists, but anyways) Why not Preach about Jesus nicely and kindly? If you calmly state the points of Chirstiannity, try to make friends and be tolerant, you'll attract many more followers than by insulting everyone and killing them (ie the Crusades)

Guess what? They're false Christians. If you actually read all of the Bible, you would understand where we are coming from. I dare you to show us a single scriptural verse where it tells us to be tolerant or promotes tolerance. Hint: I'll save you time....there isn't any.

The Bible tells us to stay away and isolate ourselves from unsaved trash. We are commanded to go out and preach to them, but nowhere does it say we have to treat them with "tolerance and kindness".

I have a few statements that I wanted to make and I hope and pray that everyone can be reasonable about this. I am a Deacon at a very conservative church and I believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God.

I'm writing here because I'm a bit disturbed at what I see after reading through many of the threads.

I'm sure that you are aware that Christ gave his most harsh criticism toward the Pharisees. Here's Matthew 23 in the KJV1611 as your request:

Think about what you write in light of these verses and the context.

excuse me.. but since when does a 23yr old, go to school?

My goodness, all these noobs here today are outright idiots. I bet they all stayed back in school multiple times and are only advancing due to age/grade stipulations. I read that if a student is 30 years old, they have to get a high school diploma, no matter their grades. So at 23..... that is probably a ninth grader.... the logic of her writing seems to fit. When I was 23, I was done with one masters degree and half way done on the second. I would of been done sooner but I was working full time too.

I found this on this very site, posted by a Reverend. I did cut and paste, yes. The color was the one he chose. And besides, is not our blood red? so that means we're Satanists? And no, im in perfect mental health. I came here seeking knowledge. I know little about Christiannity . But it seems that you're so insecure in your belief, you can't give me a valid argument. You are misunderstanding why Jesus was condemning the Pharisees. He was not condemning them for following the Law, rather He was condemning them for being hypocrites. Look at how often Jesus uses the word "hypocrite" in the above chapter.

We, on the other hand, are not hypocrites because we follow all of the Bible 100%, word-for-word. You like to cry out that we aren't tolerant, therefore we aren't good Christians, so I challenge you to find scriptural verse where it commands us to be tolerant.

Finally, Jesus Himself did not come to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it(Matt. 5:17). Jesus recognized the Law (Old Testament) and believed we should all follow it. What set him apart from the Pharisees is that He was not a hypocrite.
