Folks, I received this heartbreaking letter from a little girl in Iowa Falls today...

Dear Mother Glendora,
Rusty my Golden Retriever keeps humping our German Shepard. I am ashamed to tell you that both dogs are boys! My daddy says Rusty is a queer dog and should be shot. - Christina in Iowa Falls

Dear Christina, it is a breath of fresh air to find that there are still parents out there who believe in God's word and are willing to live by it, instead of sissyfying HIS loving word. Your father should be commended and let me assure you, Jesus will reward you a thousand times over for getting rid of that homosexual dog. My only concern is that you father said nothing of the German Sheppard (the willing recipient of SODOMY! - forgive me Jesus). Don't you think both dogs should be put to death in accordance of Leviticus 20:13? In HIS Love, Glendora

Yes, it what our loving Savior would want Sister Glendora. We have to be firm but fair in these situations.

I think Christina needs some serious counseling with her paster too. Clearly she has done something to anger God that He let demons posses her dog.

Yes Sister. Doing the right thing isn't always easy, but you have to remember that God's laws never change. It'd be best to end it quick with a shotgun blast to the head, before the poor thing gets any more "urges". I'm sorry to hear about your dog. Maybe after he's "taken care of", you can ask someone in your church if they know of a nice Christian dog that needs a good home. Again, I'll be praying for you.

I agree with Pastor Zeke. Remember Mark 9:42-47 (one of my favourite passages in God's Word), where our Lord Jesus said that we should get rid of whatever causes us to sin, rather than spend eternity in hell.

I'd say the German Shepard's sin is even greater. At least the Retriever could claim (if dogs were capable of hiring Jew lawyers, which thankfully they are not) that it had innocently mistaken the Shepard's nether regions for a lady dog's unmentionable parts, but there is no situation in which being buggered by a dog is not wrong.

Here is a picture of Gary's and my mastiff "Stonewall Jackson" being walked by the hired help. He's only two years old, but as you can see he's already grown big and manly due to all the rhinoceros hormones Purina Puppy Chow we've been feeding him, along with plenty of prayer and exercise. He's no homer, that's for sure. Sadly, he killed and consumed the horse just minutes after the photo was taken. Puppies can be naughty sometimes!

But what about the Retriever's sin of adultery? Regardless of the gender of the Shepherd, the Retriever still willingly participated in a sexual act with another dog outside of God's graces.
