    Little help with some questions

    My friends!
I'm having a debate with a couple people on whether God is real or not and I need some help. I'm still not very knowledgeable and can't answer some of their questions.

    1. If God is real, why won't he reveal himself?

    2. Why would God create people if he knew billions would go to Hell? YET he says he loves everyone because we're his creation?

    3. If God really cared about people, and knew beforehand who would be going to Hell (Since he's all knowing) Why doesn't he stop Satan from doing this evilness and put Satan somewhere else?

If I have more questions, I'll keep adding them to this thread. Thanks plenty too! It means a lot

Please don't come to this forum and second-guess the work of God. He is the all-knowing being; humans are not. We must rely on the mysteries of faith, not question God's will.

He has, you just pretend to not to see it.

God hates sin so He created sinners to punish.

Your imaginary friends do not count as "people".

Aren't you just a little old for imaginary friends? But at least you are here now. We are real.

        1. If God is real, why won't he reveal himself?
God gave us reason and logic, which is why we often find ourselves wondering why He doesn't pop out of the sky and say hi now and then. After all, then everyone would believe, right?

Ah. There's the rub. The difference between believing and knowing.

If God stopped in for a chat, say every 15 years, everybody would know He was the One True God. They would not need faith. God wants us to BELIEVE in Him and obey Him out of FAITH. Those who refuse to have faith and thus reject Him will be tortured in Hell for their disbelief.

        2. Why would God create people if he knew billions would go to Hell? YET he says he loves everyone because we're his creation?
Where did God say in the Bible that He loves everyone? Chapter and verse, please. (I won't hold my breath.)

God hates the wicked. He loves those who keep His commandments.

He gives us free will. We can choose to worship Him and obey all of his 600+ commandments, or we can choose to "believe" only things we "know" (see above), living without faith. Those who choose so-called "proof" over faith will be tortured in Hell for their disbelief, but it is their own decision to go there.

Hating God so much that they claim He and Hell do not exist doesn't result in a "Get Out of Hell Free" card.

        3. If God really cared about people, and knew beforehand who would be going to Hell (Since he's all knowing) Why doesn't he stop Satan from doing this evilness and put Satan somewhere else?
Yes, He's all-knowing. He knows who will go to Hell before they are even conceived, yet He allows them to be born and live a vain and futile life ending in eternal agony in the unquenchable fire. But what makes you think evil comes from Satan? God creates evil.

        Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

The first step to understanding God is to read His Word, the Holy KJV1611 Bible. This forum has a wonderful Bible in a Year section. Have you looked at it yet? You can learn all about the Lord!

They wouldn't think that would be a good answer, I'm trying to make it as simple for them as I can, and I did say that a lot of faith is required.

Not sure what you mean by imaginary friends but, Thank you for those answers Rev. I'm sure that'll satisfy them. I do read the bible too, but I am still young as I started not to long ago and lack a lot of the knowledge that I should have had by now. I believe that is why God brought me to this forum. To gain the knowledge I needed and that I prayed for.

Look son, it is obvious you are just a youngster and being Canadian obviously won't help you see any enlightenment. I am happy to help you with your questions as best I can.

              1. If God is real, why won't he reveal himself?
First off, I don't like how this question starts with an IF. Obviously your friends are already closed to the reality of God which is so narrow minded and illogical! There are so many proofs of God it isn't even funny! Everything on earth is PROOF of God, from a duck paddling across a lake, to a leaf falling from an elm tree; from the birth of a newborn child, to a gentle breeze that cools you on a warm God given summers day!

Gosh, all your "friends" would have to do is pick up a KJV1611 to see just how adequately and PERFECTLY God has revealed Himself to us all!

              2. Why would God create people if he knew billions would go to Hell? YET he says he loves everyone because we're his creation?
God certainly created Adam and Eve and did tell them to go forth, be fruitful and multiply:

              Genesis 1:27-28
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

God however NEVER told anyone to go out and slut around and produce as many heathen spawn as you possibly can! unfortunately God cannot be held responsible for the irresponsible "free will" decisions some wanton satan lead people make. In fact God has made it more than clear that fornication is a SIN!

Paul also told the church at Corinth not to associate with fornicators, and he said that the fornicator should be put out of their fellowship (referring to him as a "wicked person"):

              1 Corinthians 5:9-13
              "I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters;

              for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner;

with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
              "

Our bodies are not meant for fornication:

              1 Corinthians 6:13

"Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body."

Fornication is a sin against our own body, and we are told to run away from fornication:

              1 Corinthians 6 18-20

"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

The Israelites committed fornication in the wilderness, and thousands of them were killed. This was written down as an admonishment (warning) to us ALL:

              1 Corinthians 10:8-11

"Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."

Paul gave the Galatian church a list of sins of the flesh, and notice that adultery and fornication were at the top of the list:

              Galatians 5:19-21

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Fornication must not be found ("named," as in 1 Corinthians 4:21-5:2, above) among Christians and that is WHY True Christians DO NOT fornicate:

              Ephesians 5:3

"But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;"

It's the will of God that we abstain from fornication. Sodom and Gomorrha gave themselves over to fornication, and they are set forth as an example:

              Jude 1:7

"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

I know that was a lot to read, and frankly I had at least another 15 to show the point but it HAD to be explained so that God is not blamed any further for the discrepencies of certain human beings.

              3. If God really cared about people, and knew beforehand who would be going to Hell (Since he's all knowing) Why doesn't he stop Satan from doing this evilness and put Satan somewhere else?
God cares about EVERYONE, however God does have to test us all or rather help us test ourselves. God allows challenges to put be put forth before us, so that we can learn to love Him more. I was once a sinner and did some terrible things. I however turned my life around and started listening to God. I still battle with myself on a daily basis, but I tell you one thing friend; I would much prefer to battle with myself and decide for myself right from wrong (as per Gods wishes) than battle with God himself! Satans influence are much easier to stave off than the feelings of guilt and sorrow coupled when going against The Lords wishes. Satans influence is like flicking lint off a sleeve: you have to WANT to do it and if you don't, then you only have yoursel fto blame for it remaining there!

If I have more questions, I'll keep adding them to this thread. Thanks plenty too! It means a lot
I hope that has put your mind at ease a little and given you much fodder to fend off those nay-saying pals of yours!

              God Bless

Another thing Rev. I took great offence in you calling me a trolling atheist, and then putting my rep down. This wasn't a joke. I myself didn't have the knowledge and was simply asking for it. And just because I'm unsaved doesn't mean I'm an atheist. I am seeking diligently for Jesus to come into my life. I understand that you all have a major problem with fakes that come to this forum, but please tell me where I can seriously ask questions and learn. I know that the KJV1611 has EVERY answer I need, but I don't know exactly where to find them in it and wouldn't mind some Christian help.

Forgive me if I offended any of you with these questions.
One day I WILL be a knowledgeable Christian.

You need to be concerned about your "rep" in God's eyes, not on an internet forum.

I gave and will give you serious answers, but as to your sincerity . . . I believe you are sincere about Jesus just as I believe Barack Obama wants what's best for America. The "debate with friends about God" line is even more well-worn than "I am not a Muslim".

Do tell, why didn't you ask your own pastor these questions? Why did you need to hunt for a forum on the internet? Perhaps because you don't go to church?
                    Bible boring? Nonsense!

Thank-you Rev. I needed that. And sorry about the previous comment, I shouldn't have been thinking of my "rep" and just did what you said. I guess I just wanted to be accepted by a Christian fellowship somewhere...

However, I should've asked one of my pastors, you are correct. But since I was in front of my computer trying to find the answer, I figured I might as well just ask you guys. It never crossed my mind

                        Hello Master Falcon,

This reply is quite telling! Jesus will guide us in the right direction ALWAYS. The fact that He did not automatically guide your thoughts to asking your own Pastor, speaks volumes! Perhaps God did't WANT you to go to your Pastor!

Do you think it is mere happenstance that you found God's Favorite Forum, given the vast array of sites on the interwebs?

                        I think not!

                        Joshua 1:9

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

                        There's Jesus here,
Just see what He offers me....
                        Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!
