True Christian and Alcohol - Which drinks are permited?

Brothers and Sisters, as a former lost sheep now finding my path to the True Christianity, I'm now seeking advice on alcohol subject.

I have studied the subject from the scriptures of the only true Bible and I understand the at least use of wine is accepted, even considered as blessing?

Judges 9:13 - And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

Nehemiah 5:11 - Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them.

1 Samuel 10:3 - Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Beth-el, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:

2 Kings 18:32 - Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The Lord will deliver ...

My concern is the situation when it is accepted to drink and what are permitted drinks. Of course some things are crystal clear: I wouldn't drink mojito, it at least for me it sounds and looks really gay. Drink that and it's like crying "I'm faggot and I burn in Hell". I think most of the cocktails go to this category or what do you think?

In my personal alcohol use, I seek advice on two things. First, on Fridays after eating the dinner my wife has made, I like to sit on a sofa, watch some James Bond movie to see Sean to beat crap out of disobedient women and to learn new techniques to teach my on wife on the same subject. While watching the movie, I drink beer or two, three six packs at most. I know that the beer is not wine, but I do drink it with food, it is after the dinner, right? Is beer accepted or should I drink wine instead?

Other problem is that I like whisky. Bible does warn on abuse of strong drink

Proverbs 20:1 - Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

But I not abusing it. In fact I'm drinking it with to praise the Lord. I always cry "Oh my God this is good". Why I don't feel good about drinking Whisky is that most of my whiskeys are Scotch whisky. Aren't those Scotch wearing kilts? And isn't kilt like a skirt? Sounds very gay to me!

Would it be ok, if I drank Bourbons? They are at least good old American whiskeys, not some faggot made stuff.

I think this thread could be used as general discussion about alcoholic drinks and why are they permitted or forbidden.

    Seeking Your advice,
    Brother Miikkael

The Bible says that wine is the only drink, but the GOP platform says it's whiskey. Maybe we're meant to mix them?

Re: True Christian and Alcohol - Which drinks are permited?

You are asking a very good question, friend.

Quite often, false christians like the Alcoholics Anonymous (a creepy, secluded cult if there ever was one) claim that alcohol is evil, and that all alcoholic drinks should be avoided. This, of course, is nonsense.

Why? Because we should not let anyone tell us what to drink, but the Bible. And what does the Bible say? Exactly, it is perfectly okay to drink wine, just as long as you don't drink it excessively (Proverbs 20:1), when going to church (Leviticus 10:9), or when taking the oath of a Nazarite (Numbers 6:3-4).

About other drinks like beer, they simply fall under the category of "strong drinks" of Proverbs 20:1, and should therefore, like wine, not be drank in excessive amounts, but a beer now and then is perfectly acceptable. After all, what is manlier than a barbecue with beer?
        Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
        Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

        Amen.

Thank You. I got so happy that I accidently posted empty post. Not that I wouldn't like wine, but beer is much more safer. If I spill red wine on carpet, time my wife spends cleaning it is off from serving more drink.

Well, I have to say that I have always considered the sparkling wine as womens drink but now after two bottles me thinks it quite manly. But hey, may I have some help with to scotchs? I mean not that I'm going give my collection (26 bottles) away, but could it be considered as destroying the faggot kilt wearing culture?

Re: True Christian and Alcohol - Which drinks are permited?

I, myself, am somewhat ambivalent about wine consumption even though the fruit of the grape has an honored place in the Good Book™. However, nowhere is the use of wine required of True Christians®.

Recently I was conducting a Bible study session in my single-wide. Those attending were Roger the quadriplegic, the Dingle sisters, and a homeless wino we found wandering through the trailer park.

At the conclusion of the session, I offered departing libations to the group. Roger and the Dingle sisters went with Jim Beam straight up. I chose to sample a single malt.

The wino went for the gallon jug of MD 20/20, took one long slug, yelled that he needed the bathroom and took off at a dead run. Sadly, for my messican housekeeper, he didn't make it:

I'm pretty sure the wine did not agree with his constitution. I'm also very sure that wine will never pass my lips.

Can you please support that statement with Scripture?

Brother, I'd stay away from the "fortified" wines.

This is sick. I went to local liquor store to buy some whiskey. I was in hurry and just asked the clerk that do they have something new. I took the bottle offered, bought it and ran home. When I took the bottle out the the store bag, I found it to be Japanese.

WHAT THE ....... Japanese Whiskey? Those bastards are trying to get me drink the radioactive stuff they have there? I bet the stuff is actually just water from near the fukushima power plant. Japanese whiskey is like having Indian burger or Chinese hot dog. Well I guess they have hod dogs in china but I would not eat that part of dog.

Mr. M I had a similar experience in England where some quick-buck-merchant was selling "absinthe" made from THIS PRODUCT mixed with hallucinogenic fungus extract and green food colouring. Fortunately before I drank any I caught the shyster gathering his fungus and, becoming suspicious, was able to dispose of the (I must grudgingly admit rather enterprising) product at an early date.
