What is wrong with killing a lion?
This poor man is being persecuted by lieberals for pursuing his God given right to kill any beast he wishes.

Genesis 1:26-28
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

What's the fuss about? He paid $50,000 to hunt that lion. With that sort of money, they can buy a hundred new lions to replace it. And it was a perfectly biblically-inspired hunt, too, using a crossbow.

Genesis 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;

As if Mr Palmer has not suffered enough, without being persecuted at the hands of the Godless people of Zambeziland or whatever it's called.

This is not the first time the poor man has been hounded!

Separately, court records have shown that the dentist has a felony record in the US after killing a black bear in the state of Wisconsin in 2006.

He was given a one-year probation and fined $3,000 (£1,900), having shot the animal outside an authorised zone and then trying to pass it off as having been killed elsewhere.

Well boo hoo, a black bear. Bears are mean and nasty and should all be shot, imho. Especially polar bears. One of the very few good things you can say about England is that it doesn't have any bears.

2006 must have been a really horrible year for Mr Palmer, as apart from the bear business, some hussy blackmailed him.

Records from the Minnesota Board of Dentistry also show that Mr Palmer was the subject of a sexual harassment complaint which was settled in 2006.

A receptionist alleged that he had made indecent comments to her. Mr Palmer admitted no wrongdoing and agreed to pay out more than $127,000 (£81,000).

The fact that he paid her such a lot of money, even though he had done nothing wrong, shows him to be a man of generous spirit.

Verily, Brother Farmer, I am sharing my prayers with you and Sister Joanna and all pious Bible-believing Christians™ everywhere!

Mr. Palmer should be treated a HERO! Here we can see the fearsome beast after Mr. Palmer expertly ambushed it!


This is very tentative but am I seeing yet another very qualified GOP candidate here?! He understands that whilst the lion was one of the Created Kinds that entered the Ark during the Flood, this kind has degenerated and it is now a vermin. There are many other vermin also in Godly U.S. of America, such as hamite bears, grizzling bears, skunks, sea otters, and prong horny antelopes. We could get rid of all of these, as well!

Mr. Palmer could indeed be the Daniel of our End of Times!

What a brave and fearless man he must be - facing these brutes with nothing more than a little bow and arrow. Probably the same ones he was given for his 5th birthday. He should be held up as an example of true American manhood!

If we take as our verse

Then we see that God has given power over animals that is the direct equivalent of God’s Power over us. Mr Palmer was exercising that power.

Animals are soulless beings that either
(i) serve us, e.g. the cow, the dog,
(ii) are tolerated by us (the cat, the blue-jay)
(iii) have little to do with us (the lion, the gibbon)
(iv) are our enemies (the serpent, the wasp)

and we treat them accordingly and in the manner of God:
(i) the cow and the dog, we keep well until such time as its life is required by us: and likewise God does this with the True Christian, who is obedient, unquestioning, and useful,
(ii) The cat and the blue-jay, we acknowledge but with no advantage to ourselves, and likewise God tolerates the Southern Baptist with their “modern agenda.”
(iii) The lion and the gibbon are not native, they have no food value, we may do as we wish with them, and likewise God, sees Methodists, Pentecostals, etc. as destined for Hell for they refuse to use their free will to choose Him and Jesus.
(iv) The serpent and the wasp, we kill. The Catholic, Atheist, the sinner, who, despite all warnings do not heed God and persistently defies or attempts to frustrates Him, have their soul destroyed.

But should we keep only to these actions, or, like God, do as we please with each category? The answer is obvious: we have dominion, we do as we wish, for The Lord has dominion over our soul and may do as He wishes.

And now we must address the idea that Mr Palmer did something that was inconsistent with his God-given right to have dominion over animals.

The report says:

Rodrigues said Palmer shot Cecil with an arrow but failed to kill him. Then the two men tracked Cecil, finding him about 40 hours later and shooting him to death with a gun, Rodrigues said.

To which everyone reading this will reply:

Ro:9:15: For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Ro:9:16: So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Ro:9:17: For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
Ro:9:18: Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Ro:9:19: Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Ro:9:20: Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

And this has to be Mr Palmer’s attitude:

God may give you a painful, and prolonged death with cancer but this does not mean that He loves you any less. Mr Palmer gave the lion 40 hours of wandering around with an arrow in him – this cannot be excessive or even unreasonable.

Why would God or Mr Palmer need to feel remorse? Ha! For the True Christian, it is simple:

Joh:9:1: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
Joh:9:2: And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Joh:9:3: Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Mr Palmer made God's gift of power over animals manifest unto some old lion, and this is to the Glory of God and of Man.


Well Done Mr Palmer! You are a Lesson in Life and Christianity to us all!

Brother Walt is without doubt a True Christian™ man who practise his hobby the Biblical way. What did God create lions, leopards and rhinos for if not for us to have something fun to kill? Dr. Walter Palmer has great potential to become the Republican candidate for 2016, though I have to admit its a tough choice if Ted Cruz is the alternative

I, too, marvel at Brother Putin's manliness, but the tiebreaker between him and the good dentist is that Dr. Palmer is a True American™. If it weren't for that, I don't know if I'd be able to choose between the two...

But on topic, I will be praying for not only for Palmer's exoneration, but that he receives some type of award...a medal, trophy and/or cash dispensation for his service to God and country.

Were these lions depictions of present-day degenerated lions after the havoc of genetic entropy has messed them up, I would immediately agree with you. But these are the animals of the original Lion Kind that we haven't seen since the Flood. It is quite possible that also the lioness was not hairless but had a mane before the harmful mutations removed it. As you can see, also the antelopes have horns of equal size in the male and the female which supports this alternative hypothesis of mine.

However, I understand that this could cause some confusion among our youth or even misplaced joy among the homer majority of the country, so I'll pray on this.

A decent man, trying to put food on his table, clothes on children's backs and all anyone can do is worry about a collar.
He killed an animal, one God gave us to hunt. Had the Lion hunted Mr. Palmer with a bow then shot him 40 hours later, would everyone be so upset?
I kill animals every day. Some to eat (a bolt gun to the head of a cow or pig, a knife to the throat of a chicken) some just to ensure my gun sights are accurate (dogs, cats, colorful birds. It is not a big deal, it is not like they were people that could be Christians.
