  • Prayer Needed for Homeless Boy

An ex-homer friend of mine in California informs me that there is a homeless young man who stands outside his office each day seeking handouts from those more privileged than he. He has taken this fellow home on a few occasions and states that he is quite the perfect houseguest: he showers, helps clean around the house, and even cooks meals with perfect results.

Unfortunately, there is a need for more permanent housing and employment for this boy. Won't you pray that someone in the California area will take compassion and allow him to stay with them until he gets on his feet? I'm told the young man is fair of face, long limbed, and quite muscular. His spiritual health is of concern to me as my friend thinks he has homer tendencies. Oh if only I were in California, as the boy doesn't want to leave that state.
    Prayers coveted and appreciated, friends.
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Many thanks for bringing this person's God-ordained station in life to the attention of the wider Church.

I have scheduled "him", starting May 14, to be the subject of weekly, Grade 4, "general support", prayers.

If there is no improvement in his condition after three months contact me again.

      Brother Bathfire,

I am overwhelmed by your compassion in this matter, which is in keeping with Matthew 25:35-40. Our LORD wishes us, no doubt, to show concern and True Christian(TM) charity and yet we must make wise choices in the methods of carrying out that concern. I learn so much from the elders of this Church daily. May I grow to have similar qualities when I am older than dirt, like you. Praise God!

        Brother Larry,

Of all Godly folk on this site, I know you more than anyone would be a beacon of compassion for those most vulnerable to being exploited by liberals and boy-hungry Catholic priests lurking the streets. Perhaps the LOL can arrange a bake sale to fund your Outreach Mission to visit this lad in California and take him in your bosom of Christdom.

God will respond with "Yes", "No" or "Wait" - whatever he chooses, we can be assured that this is the wisest choice.

While we appreciate your efforts, they are not necessary. (i) God does not hear the prayers of a sinner, and it is not clear that you are not a sinner. (John:9:31)
(ii) "He" is already receiving prayers - one request should be enough, shouldn't it?
(iii) There are 7 billion people in the world, if each one gives God a request every day, then that's 222 prays a second 24/7, every day of the year - you will see the problem.

A Praise Report! GLORY TO GOD!

An organization that is described as bringing deserving men and boys together (I didn't catch the name) has taken in this young fellow, where I am assured he will be given all the love and attention needed. Isn't God good - all the time?

PRAISE YOU, LORD JESUS! GLORY TO YOUR NAME!

                  Let's all rejoice.

Don't you think it's a bit superfluous to pray for someone who is already covered in prayer? It would be more prudent for you to pray for GreatScott who was raised in such a liberal home being gay is no longer a shocker, and thus he's been brainwashed to identify as an autist, and therefore in need of healing. Please let us know when this healing has been completed.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

                        What is: the gods?

Are you referring to the highest tier of seating? As you can see, not usually very well illuminated but probably warmer than the street corner.

I will pray for this unfortunate boy everyday until he gets a desirable home and well-paying job. Hopefully he stays well until he gets into a home.
