The Bible make it quite clear that GOD did smite Jesus, and he had smited Him for our sins. This do not be hard to understand. God sacrificed Hisself to Hisself to appease His own wrath so that True Christians™ can be SAVED! Glory! If you accepts His sacrifice, you can have everlasting life just like all the godly folk on this forum is going to have. God says in the Bible that He created it.

It's there.

Do you have another explanation? Keep in mind that the "Big Bang" theory doesn't have any answer for what existed before said "Bang", nor the origins of matter.
