Pray my brothers and sisters in Christ that Jesus pours his mighty wrath on those who celebrate "Earth Day" and let those accursed people know we are to worship Him who created the heaven and earth; not the earth. As the Holy Bible says "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." I for one am sick and tired of all these communistic hippies who want to trick us into worshiping the earth (Gaia) instead of God (Jesus). They hate freedom, capitalism and God. They spend all their time coming up with newer and nuttier theories of why we should live like the filthy Europeans (stop bathing, stop using toilet paper, etc) and so on.

Well God hates it. It's got to stop! I'm going to spend this "earth day" the same way I do every year: I'm going to turn on all the lights, heaters, air conditioners and water faucets in my estate and leave them on for 24 hours. I'm going to leave the doors to my refrigerators and freezers wide open, and I'm going to run the engines on my collection of cars and motorcycles. Checkmate, Al Gore!

Well considering Al Gore's environmental footprint, I wouldn't be surprised to find out he's doing the exact same thing. One thing I've found about environmental leaders, they're all hypocrites. They fly around in private jets telling everyone else that owning a car is bad. They own multiple estates and tell us we should live in mud shacks.

I think you have misunderstood what Earth Day actually is. It is simply a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. Something that is extremely important and vital to our survival here on Earth now and in the future.

Why would you go on to say people who support Earth day are communists and/or hippies when they are not neccessarily related at all and can quite easily be exclusive of eachother?

And why would you then proceed to waste energy like that on purpose just in spite of Earth Day for no apparent good reason at all? All that would achieve is a big waste energy and it would push up your own energy bills even higher. Therefore you are punishing yourself which i don't really understand.

We waste energy in protest. It doesn't really push up my energy bills that much because the dishwasher had to be run and the oven needed to be cleaned anyway. I just save it for the times to show the government (and don't think they don't track whose obeying) that I'm not falling for this save the planet crap.

And as far as the rapture is concerned, whether or not there is going to be a rapture, we should still look after the planet we live in regardless. Especially if it was what God has created.

You just don't get it, friend. If the earth is in some kind of a danger, then that is God's will and we should not interfere with His plans.

If you want to "save the earth" so badly then do as you please, but you must be ready to accept your penalty for disobeying His words. You will roast in hell whether you like it or not.
