      I dare you to make less sense. God created all life, so it's only natural that He can do with it whatever He wants to.

      The Good Book tells us that we shall stand right beside Our Lord Jesus watching the sinners burn:
      Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
      Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
      Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

      Shout GLORY!

          Re: Please pray for Japanese nuclear reactors to meltdown

          What you guys are preaching is completely un-Biblical and in no way in line with the teachings of Christ. I am a pretty devout Christian and spend a great deal of time reading and studying the Bible, and what you guys are talking about here is just awful. According to New Testament scriptures, there is no evidence whatsoever that God reveals himself through destruction and judgment. He reveals himself through his creation and believers witnessing to him. The only time God will judge sinners is at the end of time, which obviously is not now. The Bible teaches that we are to love people, not hope that they suffer and die. It's not your place to judge sinners for their actions, because they are just that, sinners. You should be more concerned with how you are living your lives then how non-Christians are living theirs. Also, what about the countless Christians that probably lived there and died? I would be inclined to believe there are more Christians being killed in Japan than there are Christians on this forum. It's ridiculous that you people would even think to live see things this way. The Bible teaches about love, not a desire for destruction and death. I really hope you guys realize what you are doing.

          P.S. If the reactors do meltdown and start spreading radiation like you guys are praying for, it's predicted that it will probably reach America as well. That's some good reasoning there...
          29Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD;
          30 AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.'
          31"The second is this, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' There is no other commandment greater than these." - Mark 12:28-31 (NAS

            After reading some more posts, you guys seem to reference the flood often, but that is easily debated because God promised He would never do that again.

            Also, the reason there was that kind of judgment in the Old Testament was because there was no Messiah or Gospel at that time, so there had to be some form of judgment and attestation to God's sovereignty, but now we do have a Messiah and The Bible, so God doesn't work in those ways anymore. Find one New Testament example of God doing that. Sure, the end times speak of it, but we obviously aren't in the end times.
            29Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD;

              Re: Please pray for Japanese nuclear reactors to meltdown

              I'll post one more time since I can't edit my posts. If you guys really believe God punishes sin in the way you are teaching, why doesn't God kill preacher's who are preaching false doctrine or who aren't leading correctly? In the Old Testament, which seems to be all that you reference, priests were killed instantly if they didn't do everything 100% correctly in the temple, so why wouldn't priests be killed like that today? The Bible says all Christians are priests, so why aren't Christians instantly killed if they don't worship correctly?

              It's because that's not how God deals with humans anymore. There is only one time where he will judge everyone, and that is at the end of time, which like I said before, is obviously not right now.
              29Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD;

                Strikes me that, if what you say is true, most of God's Word fell out of your ears.
                and what you guys are talking about here is just awful.
                We are talking about God and He is NOT awful - that is blasphemy!
                According to New Testament scriptures, there is no evidence whatsoever that God reveals himself through destruction and judgment.
                Do you accept the Old Testament as The Pure Word of God?
                The Bible teaches that we are to love people,
                It certainly does not. You show me scripture on that one!
                not hope that they suffer and die.

                You have never read a Bible in your life, have you?
                John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

                1st Corinthians 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
                1st Corinthians 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

                You should be more concerned with how you are living your lives
                How dare you march in here ans start preaching to the Pastors and congregation of God's Favorite Church? Read your Bible - IF you have one! 1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
                P.S. If the reactors do meltdown and start spreading radiation like you guys are praying for, it's predicted that it will probably reach America as well. That's some good reasoning there...
                God will not permit that... well, perhaps California will get the does it deserves for being a hotbed of homerism.

                So, what's that you were saying about Him not doing it any more becasue we have a Messiah? It doesn't make any sense what you said, does it?

                  They serve as an example of those who will burn in Hell. In the OT, God did not kill every false prophet or else He would have wiped out Hinduism, wouldn't He? And all them injuns who worshiped totem poles.
                  In the Old Testament, which seems to be all that you reference, priests were killed instantly if they didn't do everything 100% correctly in the temple,

                  so why wouldn't priests be killed like that today?
                  Because God gave us free will and you make your own path in life. We are here for a few years and after that those false prophets burn forever.
                  The Bible says all Christians are priests, so why aren't Christians instantly killed if they don't worship correctly?
                  You must be thinking of,
                  1Pe:2:9: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
                  1Pe:2:10: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

                  and we must ask ourselves, "Whom was Peter addressing?" It was Christians. Those who preach falsely are not Christians, they are atheists, Catholics, Hindus, Muslins, people like you, etc.

                  We here at Landover wish to reinstate God's Law in the US and throughout the world. When that time comes your desire to see the unfaithful die, will be granted.

                                I don't know if this is already posted to this thread but I'd like to make a Bible quote to inform us all about what God has fiven to us to show unquestionable love to us.

                                Genesis 1:12

                                We have atoms, we have seeds and we have love. But all that God asks us to be, is to be responsible for our actions. There's also the snake that is tempting us to go the easy way.

                                I ask you to think about that. Think it twice. If you still are uncertain, refer to the Bible. All the answers are there. It never has failed me
