  • Please pray for my rotator cuff!

I have been to a lot of revival meetings, recently, and I guess I was waving my arms in the air too much because now my rotator cuff hurts like something else on each side, although it's worse on the right, probably because that's my dominant arm.

The doctor prescribed aspirins as an anti-inflammatory, plus he also told me not to do that so much (the waving).

Well, it's been a week and a half and I can still barely brush my teeth. I've had to teach myself to brush with my left hand because it doesn't hurt so much. I'm too old to be doing that.

I could use a little help if my brothers could spare a minute to remember me in their prayers.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Brother Nobar you can rest assured you are in my prayers today, everytime I go to the prayer closet you will be on my mind. I will remember to say a special prayer for your left arm [and hand of course] as I think you are a bit too old and possibly too rigid to learn to brush your teeth with your feet.

I can't help thinking that this is God's punishment for attending some social gathering at some so-called evangelical so-called church. The Lord does not take kindly to those who worship strange gods.

The best I can do, and I'm doing it with a heavy heart, is to pray that The Lord triples your pain and disablement such that the overall period of your suffering is reduced from years to months.

Let this be a lesson that strengthens you love of Jesus.

I had one of those once but I threw it in the trash because it sounded like something related to sports and therefore not very Lady-like.

I do miss it at times
