    Please Renew Your Prayers For Pastor Phelps!

    Another Clinton appointed, activist judge has seen fit to persecute Pastor Phelps and the good folks at Westboro Baptist Church once more. Won't you please join me in prayer for them, and ask Jesus to strike down that joo who is trying to steal the congregations Tithes to Christ! Amen!

    A federal judge in Baltimore has ordered a fundamentalist Kansas church to post a bond while it appeals a $5 million judgment resulting from its protest at the funeral of a Marine who was killed in Iraq, the Baltimore Examiner reported today.

    The Westboro Baptist Church was ordered Thursday to post the church building and nearly $500,000 in cash and property. U.S. District Court Judge Richard Bennett ruled it would require "extraordinary circumstances" to avoid posting a portion of the judgment.

    Westboro members believe U.S. deaths in Iraq are punishment for the nation's tolerance of homosexuality. The $5 million was awarded to Albert Snyder, who sued for emotional distress and invasion of privacy after a 2006 protest at the 2006 funeral of his son, Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder.

    Dear, dear, Pastor, this is news is as unwelcome here as it must be at Westboro. I must temper this with the feeling that Westboro never quite spread the word of the Law as accurately as we here at Landover do, and it may well be that this is God’s punishment for Pastor Phelps errors. God may well be putting him through this, much in the way Job was tormented. Thus I remain optimistic.
    It is interesting to note that Judge Richard Bennett was the 1994 Republican candidate for Attorney General of Maryland and the 1998 Republican candidate for Lt. Governor, thus we may see some sense come the trial proper. However, I can see nothing of his being a Christian and Severn School Maryland upon whose Board he sat seems singularly lacking in a comprehensive program of Biblical Education.

    However, the judge will be fully aware of the rights of free speech and the rights to religious belief. This is in stark contrast to Mr Snyder Snr. (there money involved here) who does not understand the Word of The Lord, otherwise he would have been thanking Pastor Phelps for the guidance in the greater cause of bring God’s Love to America.

      Oh, heavens, not this again! When are these people going to realize that the sacred tithes given by a congregation to the church of its choice are a personal matter? Our private nondenominational Baptist chapel is certainly getting a workout these days, praise Jesus!

        THIS JUST IN: Radical sodomites have set fire to Westboro Baptist Church! Pray hard, Brothers and sisters!

        Fire strikes Westboro Baptist

        TOPEKA - The Topeka Fire Department is investigating a small fire today outside of a church whose members protest at soldier's funerals.

        The Topeka Capital-Journal reports on its Web site that a fence and garage at Westboro Baptist Church became engulfed in flames early today.

        Topeka Fire Marshal Greg Bailey said the cause of the fire has not been determined.

        However, a spokeswoman for the church, Shirley Phelps-Roper, believes it was deliberately set.

        Members of the church frequently picket military funerals, arguing that the deaths of U.S. troops overseas are part of God's punishment for the nation's tolerance of homosexuality.

        Bailey said damage is estimated at $10,000.

          A fence and a garage? Could the perpetrators not be atheists opposed to property rights and fossil fuel motor vehicles? If so, I fear they have shot themselves in the foot and contributed to their own mythical “Global Warming.”

          Naturally, I will be encouraging my servants to donate generously by abstracting 20% of their wages unless they object and wish to find other employment.

            The good Rev Phelps is a true American Hero in my book!

            Remember when he told off those Godless Swedes?
            King Carl XVI Gustaf provoked the anger of the anti-homosexual Westboro Baptist Church after a Swedish pastor was convicted for inciting hatred against homosexuals two years ago.
            The US church's founder, pastor Fred Phelps, responded by setting up a "God hates Sweden" website, celebrating the deaths of Swedes and describing Carl XVI Gustaf as "King of Sodomite Whores".
            "The popinjay King of Sweden - a moral titmouse in the plumage of a peacock, who lives lavishly with kids on Sweden's largest social security check - is King of Fags," says the site.
