      Some people just don't get it. Is there a decent Christian woman who doesn't want to live by God's law? Is there a decent Christian woman who would not want to be set straight by her husband if she wanders from the Lord's path. Would I not be remiss in my duties as a good husband 'who loves God and wants my wife to do the right thing' if I didn't show her when she strayed? I know you woman folk aren't supposed to post here but, you have my permission to answer these questions.
      38 John said to him, "Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us."
      39 Jesus replied, "Do not prevent him. There is no one who performs a mighty deed in my name who can at the same time speak ill of me.

            Can you give us the book, chapter, and verses of these so-called "love and compassion speeches"?

                I see two hell bound heathens sitting in the same motel room together.
                Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
                brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

                    Why are the unsaved so often uneducated? I wonder if they have literacy classes in hell.

                      The moment some one begins to challenge your messed up set of beliefs you resort to shallow insults? Wow. Good job.

                        Messed up set of beliefs? That's rich coming from someone who thinks his grandparents were monkeys and it's OK to have relations with a woman before marriage. Pfft, for all we know you probably think Midgets and Downs' Syndrome victims aren't the work of the devil. Enjoy your time in hell.

                          You just completely proved my point. I don't even have to say anything more because what you just said is downright despicable. Go die in a fire. Nobody wants you and your disgusting beliefs in this world.

                          I honestly dare you to publicly say what you are saying here. If the rest of the world agrees surely you'll have no problem, but are you scared of that fact that you and the rest of this arrogant, religiously brain-washed forum will get beaten to death? I can guarantee it'd be the latter and to be quite honest, the latter isn't really sufficient for the majority of people here. A more severe than DEATH pain and punishment is what is deserved by the people here.

                          You talk about seeing the light and what not, but in reality it is all of you people here that need to. YOUR practices are wrong. You cannot see that, nor will you admit it as you are too caught up with it. Sure, these things may have been acceptable back when the bible was written, but this ISN'T 2000 years ago. It's not common practice to beat your wife, in fact, that's a crime. You need to gain a MUCH better interpretation of the bible, because the current one isn't acceptable in todays society. I'll be contacting the authorities about this forum, and whats been said. Consider changing to comply with todays accepted norms, before you find yourself in a prison cell.

                            However, the Bible is meant to be followed today as it was centuries and centuries ago. The Bible does not change.

                            Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

                            Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

                            Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

                              If I beat you would that make you want to hear what I have to say. Or would it make you wish I were dead. Do you think Jesus ever beat his female converts. That woman your beating has the Spirit of God in her. ...Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these... ye have done it unto me...

                                If you knew the woman you loved was going to hell, is there anything you wouldn't do to keep her from it? With the limited mental capacity of women, you can not really expect them to understand things the way men do. Just because she "has the Spirit of God in her" doesn't mean she has the cognitive ability to do what the Spirit of the Lord wishes of her. If the occasional black eye or busted lip keeps my wife from an eternity of damnation, I'm OK with that.
