The only reason we would beat our wives is to show her our deep love for her in correcting transgressions against our Lord Jesus.

In my opinion, I did not read anything about physical punishment to our wives in these verses, I do understand and I think most women do understand that the man is the head of the house, but If a man lifts his hand for his wife or any women for that matter, they must accept that they must be treated the same way by Christ for their sins, not being subjective to Jesus!

It reminds me when people wanted to stone the women and Jesus said, let the one without sin throw the first rock!

I believe Jesus wants us to love each other and have respect, it helps with the upbringing of our kids and helps to make the whole family's relationship more healthy, happier and with trust.

As I said, this is my opinion and how I see things, you must do what you feel is the right thing to do!

What I meant by my statement was that you understand the script sometimes different than me and you should do what you think is right! Do I have to explain to you everything I say, I know you guys follow KJV Bible so what is the big issue here?

And then they call this bad, because the church wasn't making money from people having sex. But you see, if back then when the church was suffering from too much sex, they could've easily made sex toys etc. and be back in business. But they just weren't that smart back then.
