The King James 1611 Bible was essentially dictated by God to King James, who then paid scribes to write it all down. He chose English because He knew that His chosen people (Us!) would speak His chosen language.

Unfortunately, secularists and perverts have almost ruined English by adding new ungodly words and changing the meaning of other words.

I am unable to truthfully answer this question as I have not had a religious upbringing. If I grew up with the same inquisitive nature as I do now, and not succumbed to beatings and stonings, I would have investigated the subject and either
a) Stopped because it conflicted with my beliefs, which I should uphold,
b) Questioned why it is such an evil subject, as it is nothing but numbers. Numbers hardly bring about sin, do they?
c) I would have already been taught mathematics by my parents and quizzed him about different subjects. But to what end, I cannot tell.

Look for one of the Iceland threads on the board, Landover prayed to God to smite Iceland and a volcano erupted. That's true!

Iceland is one of the least likely countries I would have expected someone to smite...
I see no proof that God caused the volcano to erupt. Nor any signs that it was he that did it. More likely to be chance and luck in my opinion.

an infraction is the act that deserves punishment, so I am guessing you only give mild punishment? either mild or harsh, its still wrong to punish others for their beliefs.

who is my god? how can I answer that when there is only one god. The arguement is how you worship god and there is no wrong answer.

Friend, you may talk a lot about "God", but honestly, I'm thinking you are actually an agnostic. That's OK. We all have to follow our own paths. But never forget that somewhere, you have to make a choice.
