You know what really gets my goat when it comes to these pirate types is the fact that they can't keep themselves from continually making references to anal sex. I did not make any comment on the intelligence or lack of it of Ronald Reagan.

As far as I recall he did not even say the tomato was a vegetable, his administration proposed a directive that would have reclassified ketchup as a vegetable, not the actual tomato, allowing schools to cut out a serving of cooked or fresh vegetables from hot lunch program child-nutrition requirements.

Would you care to explain what YOUR point is?
Oranges, which I hope you will agree are fruit (though not the only one), also contains both vitamins A and C as does the carrot, so clearly those are not good indicators of whether something is a fruit or a vegetable.

As for the merits of George W Bush, It was not I that bought up the confusion generated by his administration when they tried to reclassify a condiment as a vegetable, a decision that could lead to the salt beef of civilization rumbling round in the gut. Constipation was a great problem after the Second World War. Not enough roughage in the diet, too much refined food.

I just point out the FACT that the tomato is a fruit, giving the dictionary definition of what a fruit is.

Who else but a fruitcake would know all about fruits? The Holy Bible says nothing about watermelons so it’s a moot point. We call every green plant a vegetable around these places; if God doesn't care about watermelons, why should I?
