Honestly thought this thread was a joke at first. Pretty appalling to see all these “worshipers” pedaling blatant racism towards other religions such as Jews when the Bible explicitly states to love your neighbor as yourself.

The remotest, tiniest, microscopic sliver of possibility of going to hell and writhing in agony from scalding hot lava forever and ever and ever does not seem funny to me.


Anyone with a microscopic scrap of compassion would want to help someone avoid such a fate if it were possible. Therefore, anyone fully and sincerely invested in the Truth™ as put forth in the Bible should feel the need to alert people to the dangers of disobeying God. Looking stupid, or backwards or obnoxious in the process of doing so should not enter into it.

If your fly were unzipped and you saw someone with a lit cigarette about to flick the glowing embers into a puddle of gasoline, would you take the time to tidy yourself before yelling out to warn the person about the pool of flammable liquid near their feet?

Presumably, you wouldn't even think about your attire at a time like that.

Furthermore, one does not "blatantly pedal racism towards other religions." One peddles racism towards other races and intolerance towards other religions.

I do love my neighbors! They're fantastic! They attend church regularly, pray before meals, throw stones at the homers in downtown Des Moines (you won't find any in Freehold, lol!), and train up their sons up to be strong and their daughters to be good help meets! Similarly, they love me!

Of course He cares. He even warns us against worldliness - and what else would a silly game be? Its goal is to bring people pleasure and that's exactly what drives them away from Jesus!
