Your trying to entice me with your lesbian pick-up look is not proof, dear.

Now please do answer my main question, What is the point of warning someone if the information you are presenting is incorrect?

I am one of the people in this thread. Either produce evidence to show I am guilty of your accusation, or retract and apologize.

Dear angry contrarian, either produce evidence where I acted like I would "gladly kill someone who doesn't believe in God," or retract and apologize.

No, but going so far to think the 3DS is radioactive, saying how you killed the flappy bird, and saying Overwatch is sinful is different. Acting like you would gladly kill someone who doesn't believe in God, believing literally every single thing made by man is poetic in some way and connects to God, calling people who are not Christian Extremists, "enemies of God", heck, I'm not even Christian, I'm Catholic, a religion that still believes in God but doesn't have the deadly sins or any of that strange stuff. Someone here actually said, "If Jesus wanted to, he could stop a Blizzard", well I say this, "WHY HASN'T HE?" If Jesus actually cared that Overwatch was bad, he would've stopped it by now. Also, I know what a sin is, it's an immortal act considered by Jesus and his followers as an offense to godly law.

Hi. When trying to convince someone of the validity of your case, try using relevant facts, with references, from reputable, easily verifiable sources.

In this case, Scripture would be appropriate (KJV preferred).

All that you've offered here are fallacies. Familiarizing yourself with them will be useful (Wikipedia has some good summations), both to keep yourself from using them, and to recognize when someone is trying to persuade you by using them.

Re: Overwatch: Overdue For A Ban!

I was typing too fast to realize I made that mistake, Overwatch is a game, not real life, it's not real life. Also, what do you mean by warning, do you mean, "playing this game is a sin", if so, how is playing this game a sin?I just saw this in the thread: false facts about Overwatch, Christian Extremists, incorrect tags, people calling people retarted, sexism, racism, religionism if that's a word, retarded people, Overwatch Fans, some Bible quotes and pure insanity. I've read the thread and tons of comments, I've played Overwatch since it came out, and most importantly I've read the Bible twice and kids' Bibles many times when I was younger. What is the point of warning someone if the information you are presenting is incorrect? Again, there is nothing poetic about Overwatch, nothing! There is plenty of lore and origin stories in Overwatch, but there is nothing poetic, there are no teleporters that take you to hell, no dashing forward to heaven in this game, it's a group of, "heroes" fighting their brothers, masters, mothers, enemies, or friends to keep an item safe or steal the item. The fighting takes place across the world and on the moon. Also, this game isn't small, there are about 1.8 billion people with a gaming PC, console, or handheld. That means 1/60th of gamers have Overwatch! Plus not everyone has a console or PC that can run Overwatch so let's cut that down to 1 billion and we have about 1/33.3 of people who have a compatible gaming device own a copy of Overwatch, as of April 2017.

You make a claim about finding the Truth, and then say it's irrelevant while making yet another Truth Claim? Why do you think we should invest any time in considering your opinion if you hold them to such low regard that you toss them away as quickly as used menstrual rags when they no longer suit your agenda?

Do you assume we can say worshiping the LORD is a sin? Having faith in Christ is a sin? Believing a man was killed in public, rotted in a cave, miraculously unrotted three days later, and eventually floated up to Heaven on a cloud-transporter is a sin? What do you think it means to sin?

If reading and following the Bible makes a Christian "extremist," does reading and following a recipe make a baker "extremist"? Does following instructions make one an "IKEA Furniture Extremist"? Goodness, I think you haven't thought this through.

And this, in a nutshell, is why I so often skip to the end of new posters' aimless witterings and the repetition of stuff that has been claimed (and refuted) many times before. If you're boring even yourself, imagine how it is for the rest of us.

Are you insane? We know the reason this thread was made. It was made to warn members of the Landover Baptist Church about this vile game.

I don't see how your comments add to the discussion but then, unlike you, I have read the entire thread. I have also read the entire Bible, many times, and before you start sounding off about what "normal" Christians think, I would strongly recommend that you do the same. However, if Brother Brasil is interested in what you have to say then obviously I defer to his judgment on the matter.

And where, by the way, is your Introduction? I believe that when you joined you were sent a message asking you to start a thread in the Introduction Forum: Or did you not bother to read that, either?

So Will and Grace is just a television show? Mikansei Seifuku Shōjo is just a mangia? FHM is just a magazine? The Quran is just a book?

What's next? The Bible is just a book?

    Talk about religionist.

Wait--what? Overwatch is real and not a game? Color me confused.
Blizzard won't stop their wonderful game. . .
According to the Bible, Jesus calmed a storm at sea and also overcame death. It seems like He could stop a blizzard if He so chooses.
. . . just because a group of what we normal Christians call, "Christian extremists" think their game is sinful.
The term "Christian" is reserved for those who worship and obey Christ and His teachings. "Normal" Christian behavior would seem extreme to an unbeliever. Jesus told His apostles to spread His Word and make disciples throughout the world. He did NOT tell them to make friends with everyone or blend in and adopt cultural norms that oppose Biblical instruction. Unless you accept and obey ALL of God's commands you cannot--in good conscience--call yourself any kind of Christian. If there is a single verse or instruction in the Bible that you do not like or support, then you are an apostate, not an apostle.
Let me tell you about each character. . .

You are not the only one who is bored. Your post is number 1,637 in this thread. Do you have any idea of how many times people have posted the same otiose information and logically vacuous defense of this inane little game?

No, you don't. And that is because you put as little time into reading through this thread as you do in reading the Bible. Therefore, when it comes to understanding "normal" Christianity--as well as the actual reason this thread was made-- you are clueless. I can't imagine that Jesus would be happy about that. But, hey, maybe you can assuage His sorrow and pain by reciting all the Overwatch characters' personality profiles and power stats. That would be a good use of your time on this earth in His service.
