okay first off you guys are so damn close minded, im a roman catholic and i LOVE counter strike and i play so much more violent games then that and im not gay i have a girlfriend and i love her so much, and if you guys had any brains you would know that symbol is the is the symbol is chemisty for the half life of substances and chemicals and they put it in the game why? cause its called half life, and the "s and m" mask is a balaclava used to keep the mojority of the face conceled to hide ones identity, and i know many many girls that play violent games like this, and further more counter strike isnt that violent if you want violent try the gears of war series or better yet for you church fanatics, dantes inferno, and further more if that stupid kid couldnt tell the diffrence between the game and reality something was terribly wrong with him. stop being so closed minded and stop blaming the wrong things for the proplems in the world!!

David Berkowitz (Corbis) called the SON OF SAM, murdered more than 10 women. The newspaper said "He called himself a born again Christian"

The Yorkshire Rapier "was on a divine mission and felt he had been chosen to hear the word of GOD (JESUS)." Reported the Flint Journal. He murdered 11 girls.

Miller a serial killer had that thing called faith, believed in Jesus. The Flint Journal article says he was always carrying the Bible.

Sampson Kanderayi, a mass murderer called The Ax Killer, killed more than 30 people. The newspaper reported "he did it to appease evil spirits." He was a Christian

Watts, The Sunday Morning Slasher killed 11 women. This article says he did it "to eliminate evil spirits".

Jeffery Dahmer was a son of a fundamentalist.

Seems to me that Christianity could also be causing people to go on killing sprees.

Has it ever occurred to any of you that the Counter Strike and other many First Person Shooters and violent games actually function as an outlet?

A lot of people would be rolling around the streets armed to teeth while being on the brink of collapsing under stress.

You can go to this website and find all sorts of people who have played Counter Strike and are not schizophrenic. Then there's the lambda. It is a symbol representing a Greek letter, not a sexuality. You're all dumbfucks. And then, homosexuals. Does it say anywhere in the Bible that homosexuals will be damned? I don't think so. And there are girls out there who play this game. As vile as it sounds to the religious community, prayer isn't going to do jack shit to people contemplating a murder suicide scene.
Instead, these people play video games to vent, killing each other online, no harm being done and actually have fun.

I'd like you all to look up some videos on the game Team Fortress 2, its a bit gory so maybe young viewers should stay away, though it's all in a cartoony style.

I also think that blaming FPS games on promoting these shootouts to happen is a bit far fetched, if a person is gone far enough to plan it out, no game is gonna stop him or help him or her do it.

Just my 2 cents.
